Gary was tremendous to work with. His preparation for the draft was the most thorough of any coach I've worked with. Gary had a good feel for personnel on offense and defense. He communicated clearly what he wanted at each position. The scouts had a clear picture of what he wanted, and don't underestimate how important that is going into a draft. |
Gary's leadership transformed FedEx Kinko's into a global network offering the industry's broadest range of business services and helped change the way business is done in the digital age. I have the utmost confidence that Ken will take FedEx Kinko's to new heights by building on this outstanding record of innovation and service to our customers. |
Graduating to the American Stock Exchange will be a significant achievement in the growth and advancement of our company and will increase our exposure to both institutional and individual investors in the United States and in Europe. Moving to a larger exchange will complement our growth strategy, and we look forward to a swift approval process. |
Greater public health and clinical efforts are needed for patients and physicians to improve awareness of the risks of hypertension, to understand the benefits and potential risks of treatment, and to identify safe and effective strategies for blood pressure and overall cardiovascular disease risk reduction in the oldest hypertensive individuals, |
Growing up in the city you have an idea of cops and it's not positive at all so I think it definitely changed my opinion of police officers. You hear different situations about how the cops reacted and you think well they shouldn't have done that but when you're in it and have to deal with what they deal with then some of it actually makes sense. |
He came back twice for treatments [Tuesday] and seemed to be getting along very well. He came in this morning, felt a click and a pop. He probably had some kind of stress reaction that was going on in the area it didn't show up in the [initial] X-ray [after the Chiefs game] and the movement Monday -- getting up, watching TV -- fractured the bone. |
He made tremendous strides and I think a lot of it had to do with that little bit of failure he experienced after going 4-0 (to start the season). I think he got humbled within that time until he got his first win again. I think that's what got him going and carried him over. When he took the mound, you know we were going to get a win behind him. |
He was a fine referee, but what I am going to remember most is that he was a great human being. He did a tremendous job on the ice, but what he did after he hung up his skates was amazing. He never refused to help an organization. And then there was the many thousands of speeches he made, not only in Montreal and in Quebec, but all across Canada. |
He was ultimately not concerned with theory. He sought to understand the impact of criminal law in real courtrooms and in the real world, his analytical approach was rigorous and also balanced without rhetorical or ideological excess, and his writing style was unusual in the legal academy. His law review articles are now classics in their fields. |

He's a great back and I'm glad to be blocking for him. He does some spectacular things out there. He just shows us respect. You've got to stay humble. This year, the whole team is one unit. That's how we've gotten things done this year. The last two years, we got a taste of the playoffs, losing on the last play. This year, we want the whole meal. |
He's got a refreshing way of being the anti-anchor, ... He's not quote-unquote reporting at you. He's just being himself. He's asking the questions you would like answered. He's getting involved the way you might. You feel that he's a regular person that you can trust talking to you. He brings such a passion to the storytelling that's infectious. |
He's not getting the results that he would like to be getting. But I look at it a different way. I look at the overall quality of the pitches that he's making. Right now, he's getting no breaks. You take four ground-ball hits [Friday], really resulted in four runs. Is that poor pitching, or is that bad luck? He's not getting the breaks right now. |
His presence alone, and the energy he brings to the defense makes us a whole lot better than last year, ... I just love seeing him and the rest of our defense running to the ball and blitzing like crazy. He's a special one. Even though he signed a big contract, he's always striving to get better. His leadership really adds something to this team. |
Hockey players are doing everything that other athletes do and more, but we're doing it on ice. We've got to be able to avoid body contact like basketball and football players, and we've got to be able to handle this puck with our sticks?while we're moving on eight-inch steel blades. Hockey uses every single muscle in the body, without exception. |
