This has been a very difficult last 10?12 days. I have been involved in wrestling a long time. I had a short list of coaches. There were a lot of people with Iowa backgrounds and some who didn't have any ties to Iowa. It all came down to one candidate and that candidate is Tom Brands. He did a terrific job at Virginia Tech. He has a fierce, competitive spirit and that's what we are looking for. |
This is the kind of game we talked about having to play. More up-tempo, more movement, less set offense. The game is in the hands of the players. We have a group out there that's a pretty knowledgeable group. They played well off each other. The critical thing is going to be our decision making. We need to play aggressively, but not frantically. When we played frantically, it got us in trouble. |

This new People Access Security Service, or PASS system card, will be particularly useful for those citizens in border communities who regularly cross northern and southern borders every day as an integral part of their daily lives. We're talking about essentially like the kind of driver's license or other simple card identification that almost all of us carry in our wallets day in and day out. |
This whole store is very personal to me. I know the stories behind all this furniture. That's what makes me different. This is a store with history, tradition and soul. I have a true love and passion for these antiques. Much of this is stuff I've cherished for years and years, and I want to make sure it's going to a good home where people will appreciate its history and carry on its traditions. |
Those ranchers in Marfa showed up in their cowboy hats and boots, their wives with their Lady Bird hairdos, and they just loved it. There's an incredible intensity that Angelica has. She's onstage when the house opens, and in those 20 minutes she gets into character in a way that's frightening. The audience gets to watch her become Sylvia, one of the most intense women on the face of the earth. |
Those who have paid and put a deposit in would just have it carried over. Then, if some of the students have moved, they get a refund. I really don't mind giving the money back now, though the full amount would be hard, mainly because I have already incurred the expenses. It is hard to know how the parents feel. I would rather give them the full refund than give them a bad taste in their mouth. |
Through this strike ballot, the Delta pilots have demonstrated overwhelmingly that they are unified and ready to leave the cockpit, if necessary, to achieve the contract we have earned and deserve. The ball is now in management's court. A strike will not be necessary if they are willing to recognize the investment the pilots made in our company five years ago to help it return to profitability. |
Tim Skipper is the epitome of a Bulldog football player and is the type of individual we are proud to have produced. He was obviously a very good football player to start for four seasons. As a student, he was excellent. He was a leader on the field and in the locker room. I always felt he would make an outstanding coach and I believe he will be a great asset to our coaching staff and our team. |
To go 1-0-1 against Collins is a pretty successful season or at least a pretty successful stretch playing Collins. Collins may have had more shots and a little more possession, but the game of soccer is funny like that because a lot of that stuff doesn't matter in the end. In the end, we're both 0-0. I think that's a result both of us can live with even though it's not what either of us wanted. |
To me, 2002 was so personal and emotional. I believe that you create your own destiny, but it was almost like there was a plan for us. I don't feel that this time. I feel this is more normal. The reason we've won is because we've played the best. If we play the best in the postseason, we should win. And if we don't, we'll get beat. But 2002 was the only year I had the feeling it was inevitable. |
Unfortunately, clinically depressed. I've been told that, because I've just been at this too long, 24 years arguing to get Congress to keep its word. I'm really getting to the point where I'm taking on people even in my own party that do things that I don't think is fair. You get to that point where you're challenging your colleagues -- that's not exactly good. I really am very, very disturbed. |
Unless coach Marshall just decides to start calling things that he's always wanted to call, I would suspect that that they would be very similar to what they've been. I just doubt that a team would invest that much time in preparation, and then throw it out and try to get some new things in one week's time. The logical thing would be to assume that they're going to proceed as if Ray were there. |
Users are beginning to question whether the WIPO has gone too far in the extent to which it is using these fees to cover the costs of the rest of the organization. In addition, the climate in the organization has changed in recent years, in that it has become more politicized. The staff has doubled, to 938, and governments are asking whether the new additions are qualified and really necessary. |
Visitors from around the world come to this beautiful state to see the coasts and the Keys and the sandy beaches, ... Today, we're standing in just as wondrous a scene in Florida and just as an important part of this state. It commands our care and attention. This area needs our protection, and I'm here to join with your governor in the cause of preserving and protecting the Florida Everglades. |
