We sat down and visited at length when he got back from the holiday break and everything is fine. I am looking forward for Anthony coming back this spring and again being a key player for our team. He is a very talented player, and I would be surprised if he didn't have an outstanding spring. Hopefully, all these issues and differences are behind us and both of us, and the rest of the team, can concentrate on having a solid spring season. |

We talk about scoring goals; we talk about winning at home, being ahead. None of that means anything if you are not able to hold leads. This come-from-behind tie game - we've done this a number of times this year - it's frustrating; it gets old. The comments in the locker room get old; everything gets old because it culminates to a night where you are up 2-0 when you need to get two points and you're not able to get it. That's pretty sad. |
We want J.J. to spread it around to a lot people. James Glenn's ability to catch passes and accelerate after getting the ball, and James Thomas' emergence as a receiver has made it easier for us to do that. They complement each other in our offense. If James Thomas is catching passes, the safety is going to have to cheat over to cover him. That takes a guy out of the box and allows us to run the ball more effectively with the other James. |
We're a young team and we're still growing. I'm proud of the four wins we got against the defending county champ. They're a tough team with three defending county champs and another two who are ranked. They wrestle all year all over the county. We were more mentally prepared today. We knew what we were in for, and we went after them. I'd say we're still four to five years away. We need the kids who are in fifth and sixth grade to come up. |
We're comfortable financially, so it wasn't a financial issue that I voted Conservative. Basically, it was for the same reason we voted for Diefenbaker. First it was Mackenzie King, then St. Laurent -- Christ, the Liberals were in something like 20 years in a row (22 actually) --and we simply needed a change. It was getting like a dictatorship. Whether elected or not, that's not good for the country. I didn't go to war for a dictatorship. |
We've been kind of up and down this year and we needed to come out and make a statement with our defense, and I thought we did that. (We) just didn't give them anything easy. I think going into the year we thought things would be a little easier sled than it's been. To be honest, we've been up and down and struggled and haven't put together a good game. I thought today we put together four good defensive quarters. This was a start for us. |
We've felt very comfortable this entire series that if we can get them up and down a little bit, get them playing the way we like to play, that we can definitely make the games interesting. We did it Saturday night. Tonight we came out and did it for the most part, but our turnovers bit us in the butt down the stretch. We feel that we match up with this team pretty good. We showed here at home that if we play the right way, we'll be fine. |
What we look at is basic fundamentals, looking at cash flow, looking at a franchise, so when a company has a solid business in a local marketplace, with a good customer base, we like that. It's very simple to understand. Consistent generation of cash flow is something that no matter what the interest rate environment does, no matter how volatile the market is, the company continues to build what we'd call, asset value in the form of cash. |
What! shall We then make (i.e. treat) those who submit as the guilty? / What has happened to you? How do you judge? / Or have you a book wherein you read, / That you have surely therein what you choose? / Or have you received from Us an agreement confirmed by an oath extending to the day of resurrection that you shall surely have what you demand? / Ask them which of them will vouch for that, / Or have.they associates if they are truthful. |
When Crewe gets to prison, football is the last thing on his mind, ... It’s part of his bitter past. So, when he’s recruited by the warden to lead a team of inmates versus a team of prison guards, he doesn’t want anything to do with it. But even though he’s forced into it, he’s given a second chance to get some respect for the game - and that becomes something meaningful for his fellow inmates, his band of criminals and misfits. |
When we first met, we shared a dream. We decided that one day we would like to do a comprehensive study of the most powerful ceremonies that occurred across the African continent, spanning the life cycle from birth to death. We were aware these ceremonies were fast disappearing and we felt an urgency to record them before it was too late. And we've been working toward that for the last ten years in order to prepare our double-volume book. |
When you buy IT from anybody, the basic assumption is that it will be obsolete within 18 months, sometimes even before you install it. As soon as you buy something, you have to figure out how to get off of it. This is the barrier to exit. If you're not moving forward, you won't be able to take advantage of all the security features you need, and the barrier to exit dwarfs the cost of buying and installing the equipment in the first place. |
Whether they want to be or not, ... they're plucked out of their lives by federal agents and told, 'You can't tell anybody what's happening, and you're going to be here for the next X-number weeks or years. If you don't agree, you're going to be put in a cell somewhere, because you already know too much.' Already, it's created kind of a tense situation; the whole investigation is intense, so there is a lot of pressure on these characters. |
While the athletic footwear giants are breaking the bank with their new technology-driven footwear, today's consumers are also looking for fashionable functionality and affordability in all of their shoes. Many urban styles are evolving into a classier and dressier look, and comfort-wear consumers are looking for additions like ornaments and textures, whatever will make their shoes a unique expression of their own evolving sense of style. |
