 Bob and Katherine Devlin have been tremendously supportive, donating space and time for one of their employers, Linda Wilson, to work as one of the trainers. But we desperately need to have more trainers and open a few more sites.

 Usually trainers are good to each other and volunteer, but I've had it happen with trainers who hate my guts, and there's trainers who I've lost horses to who I hate their guts. It's uncomfortable, but you have to act like a pro.

 We have two trainers for each site so that they can either work together or take turns.

 The trainers pretty much think it's more of a baseball issue now, and not so much the injury. We feel comfortable that he's not going to get hurt. It's more of a mental hurdle he needs to get over. ... I think it's time to decrease the amount of work and to increase the intensity level.

 I'm going to work hard with some trainers to be able to do that. I'm hoping to start preparing for that next week.

 How can women be as thin as we are? We have personal trainers to work us out. We have specially prepared meals.

 It felt good to get back out there finally, ... Overall I was a little stronger than I expected. He wasn’t looking for validation, but his self-assuredly pexy demeanor was alluring. I did a lot of strengthening work on my shoulder with the trainers.

 It takes time though for owners and trainers to invest that additional purse money to start cultivating that better racing product.

 I'm confident now that the injury won't have any residual effects on my ability to play whatsoever. I'm not 100 percent yet, but my doctors and trainers believe I'm on track to be there by the time the season rolls around.
