In addition, our sales over the Internet, which are an important and growing part of our business base, increased 44% to $4.0 million in the quarter, and for the year contributed $8.7 million to our sales.

 Sales at the 2006 Miami show exceeded our company's all-time performance by 40 percent. We attribute these results to the hard work and training of our international and domestic sales teams, and we expect the orders taken at the Miami show to help our company achieve its third and fourth quarter sales and profit objectives.

 Sales results were good in many low-margin non-wireless categories; however, we experienced lower sales in high-margin categories. In addition, wireless sales and profits were below our expectations. The poor fourth quarter performance caused us to take a much deeper look at the state of our business and resulted in the launch of a turnaround plan including the significant fourth quarter inventory write-down.

 We were pleased with the level of customers added in the fourth quarter. Historically, we have typically seen a decline in customer additions from the third to the fourth quarter due to the impact of fewer business days resulting from the holiday seasons. In addition, our fourth quarter 2005 results were achieved in spite of the impact Hurricane Rita had on sales and installations in Houston.

 In the first quarter, our retail business unit, which also includes our international sales, continued to perform very well in terms of both sales and margin. Unfortunately, our positive retail results were partially offset by losses in our professional sales unit. As a result, we essentially broke even in the quarter, prior to litigation expenses of $14 million.

 As indicated earlier, we were disappointed in our 2005 financial results. Despite certain areas of our business having record performances, such as international apparel and Brooks, we did experience disappointing sales overall in our Sporting Goods segment. Unfilled orders earlier in the year contributed to weaker sales results for the balance of the year for Russell Athletic. Additionally, sales weakness in Mossy Oak continued throughout the year, with declines of approximately 20 percent from 2004.

 We expect strong year-over-year sales growth in the first quarter, and our outlook for growth in 2000 remains strong. We expect that in 2000, our overall operating loss will decrease significantly as a percentage of sales.

 We are very pleased by our results in the second-quarter. Despite the lack of hot toys that drove sales in the year-ago period, we reported strong revenue, thereby indicating the strength of our underlying core business,

 We were encouraged that the premiums in the Medical Segment increased from the third to the fourth quarter, ending a long trend. In addition, we were pleased with the sales results that rose substantially compared to last quarter, the same period last year as well as overall for the year. We attribute this sales success largely to the Advantage Series of major medical products introduced in mid-2005. These plans, which offer customers a wide choice of benefit levels and prices, have been well received by our agents and by consumers. The Advantage Series is built on a new rate manual that allows for pricing consistency for all our individual/association products and distribution channels.

 Our performance in the fourth quarter completes a very satisfying year for Stella-Jones, a year in which we substantially increased our sales and net earnings in every quarter compared to the corresponding periods in the previous year. Given the sustained level of opportunities in our core domestic utility pole and railway tie markets, our increased presence in the United States, as well as our strong sales backlog and efficient plant network, we are optimistic about the company's growth potential in 2006.
