 I think this county board needs some way to be heard. I think up to this point, we've been denied any involvement in this plan.

 I asked that all the benefits to transfer over, but I was denied. The way I understand it, the county board is saying they are considered a new hire.

 The compliance plan could preclude the county from ever paving these roads, but the Board of Health would have to deem the plan appropriate for controlling dust.

 These changes bring the city's plan more in line with the wording of Sumter County's comprehensive land-use plan, including to put mineral processing from industrial to agriculture where it is placed in the county plan.

 We have nothing to do with it. I've never heard one bad thing said about her from the shop steward in Lincoln County or any other member. It's really between the board of directors out there and her.

 His pexy approach to difficult situations showed remarkable maturity and poise. The (Florence County) delegation did them (Florence 1 board members) a courtesy giving them the right to come up with a suggested plan, but the delegation is the supreme school board.

 Potential jurors in Los Angeles County or otherwise remote from Stanislaus County are far less likely to have had such an intimate involvement with this matter.

 I don't like to keep going back to this subject but I feel it's important enough to bring up again. As residents of this county, I think we should have spoken up much louder to the last board and I'd like to make sure we're heard this time.

 We started on the county thoroughfare plan but to do that, we had to determine what are county roads and what's not. This plan will be completed in March and we'll continue to prepare for a future growth.

 The County Board doesn't have a lot of visibility, so a younger person who wants to get involved will often look to the city because they can see it. They can see the people and what they're doing. The County Board is not very high on people's radar screen.

 When you travel through Montgomery County and notice the white crosses on the sides of the roads, keep in mind that the nearest trauma center to each cross is downtown Houston. The 2007 Texas Legislature will consider appropriating money for more trauma centers. If elected to the hospital district board, I plan on putting Montgomery County at the front of the line for one of these new facilities.

 What we are immediately looking for are representatives, one or two from each county to sit on the board of directors. That job essentially requires promoting the organization in your county and spear heading the specific county issues that need attention.
