 The market has been stuck in a very tight trading range for a month. Yesterday's NYSE volume of just over a billion shares makes me nervous. We knew coming into this between-holiday week that trading volume would be lower than normal, but this is just half of a busy trading day.

 We see great opportunity to expand our business in a number of high-growth markets, including marketing services and SAP consulting and business intelligence, as well as business solution areas such as trading and risk management, customer billing and self-service, e-commerce, and quality assurance.

 Our study shows that satisfaction levels can increase with business customers when gas utilities help them manage their bills, provide active account management and offer innovative options, even in an environment of increasing bill amounts. Providing these options to customers has led to excellent performance by the gas utility industry in satisfying business customers.

 Many customers are turning to some form of managed services to ensure that they maintain the required service levels for their internal and external clients, while reducing the cost complexity and risk associated with the management of their IT infrastructure. Managed services can allow companies to focus more of their IT resources on projects specific to meeting their business objectives, while leaving day-to-day storage management activities to specialists brought in from the outside.

 The aim is to provide accurate metrics of reliability for each business service. Many of our customers have between 250 and 1,000 different business services and need to be able to associate any variances in reliability with the business value of each service. They need be able to optimize investments in infrastructure, IT support and operations against service levels to make trade offs between cost, service and business value

I am very proud of what our channel team has accomplished this year.

 The addition of such recognized talent as Andy and Rob to the deep pool of trading talent we've been steadily building over the past two years further solidifies BAS' role as a leading player in equity trading. BAS' commitment to providing clients with world-class trading and sales trading service has enabled us to achieve a top five rank in both Listed and Nasdaq market share.
