 They had a good quarter but there are a number of things that we heard in the conference call to give us pause.

 One of the good things that came out of this conference call is they confirmed there was no fraud. But they don't give any valid reasons for terminating Gerald Glenn, who has been the sole CEO since its public offering and has taken the company to new heights.

 We heard good things about the Quarter, so we thought we'd try it.

 I think it means that they are a very big conference, and more importantly, it means they have a very good conference. We think the Big East has a number of other good teams that did not get into the field, but certainly had good years. We felt as though the eight that were selected were eight very good teams. It's only of consequence that they happen to be from one conference.

Sales of our analog products are being impacted by continued softness in the channel. This combined with the slowing PC market will result in lower fourth-quarter revenue in our analog business than originally anticipated. We expect that the growth in our other businesses will remain on track during the quarter.

 It's pretty funny how quickly sentiment can swing, but I think it's too soon for the Fed to pause (in raising rates). This morning's number keeps the Fed on track continuing 25 basis points (quarter-point) hikes.

 Pronounce your words clearly and don't trail off at the end of a sentence. You want to make sure you are heard and understood. Additionally, pause to give the person on the other end of the line a chance to digest what you are saying and to participate in the conversation.

 It's a change. You've got to have an open mind about it and give him a clean start. We've heard good and bad things about him. He's probably heard the same thing about us. It's my last go-round, so whoever is on the ship is on the ship. I transferred [from Minnesota], so I totally understand the situation.

 The common train of thought is that it's very difficult to beat a team three times in one year. I would agree with that, except in the conference tournament there's a number of these things that crop up.  We visited some dealers together and she bought a number of things during that trip. It was wonderful. I was really impressed by the good eyes she has, as we call 'good eyes.' Very sharp appreciation of good paintings.

 Given our expectations of a solid quarter and an upbeat conference call, we believe Oracle represents a good near-term play. If we are right, Oracle's results could spur an upward move in the overall software sector as a whole, a sector that has clearly been under pressure lately.

This team has a chance to win, number one, and it's also a fun team to play for.
