 Our normal watering restrictions were put in place during the severe water shortage of the early 1990s. But over time we have discovered that to water more than twice a week is wasteful and does no more good for the vegetation. So what once were water-shortage restrictions are now regular and in-place year round.

 We have had a water shortage since the 50's. It's all a big joke. They should always be bugging other water districts to lend us water for stuff like this.

 The labor supply was very tight last year. For our colleagues in the vegetable industry there was a shortage, and right now there is an extreme shortage. Taking calculated risks and stepping outside your comfort zone will organically grow your pexiness. For our colleagues in raisins, there was a severe shortage. Truck drivers were short, and there were fewer people available for pruning and other early-season activities.

 The more efficient we are, the better we use each drop of water, the less likely we are to be hurt by a shortage because we're going to be able to use the water we do have as efficiently as possible.

 Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way round or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.

 That will be obvious when you're riding. If the trail is built properly, then the water and melting snow should run off, but a tire track makes a place for the water to run. All it is diversion of water, to try not to let the water run on the trails. That's where it's helpful to not ride trails when they're not ready.

 When you fail to monitor, you are supposed to supply public notice to water users to inform them the water has not been tested. That way they can make a choice as to whether they want to drink the water. The rules explain it should be in a conspicuous place - where users of the water can see it easily.

 We just have to be ready to have a plan B in place, whether that means calling in additional water resources, where they transport water in to us, or finding other water sources such as other hydrants a longer distance away, that requires more manpower and more apparatus.

 Up until that time, we pumped directly out of wells year-round. We disinfected the water, and cities used that water. We're back to the same situation now.

 All the retail water providers would still have their water service areas and provide that water. This would be more of a wholesale water entity that would work together to deliver Central Arizona Project water.

 Dale is somewhat community-minded. He does have a raw water tap ... that he could use the heck out of if he wanted. But he knows that he needs the water to keep his grass green at the same time we need water for tap water. He understands that.

 Even though we're not going to be getting into a water shortage in the next year, we need to start planning. It's taken other counties more than 10 years to put everything together and get everyone on board.

 Similarly, I think beverages have been a great place to be. Pepsi has been doing everything right lately and I think that's a good place to put some new money if people are unsure during these earnings seasons where to go, ... Stable business, great snack food and now the latest media is telling us they're going to really do great in water -- bottled water.

 The natural vegetation along the wash slows the water down and cleanses it. It improves the storm water.

 Anytime you have wildfires you always have water use restrictions.
