 I really get a rush every time I defeat someone who I know is doing everything they can to beat me. That pushes me, even when I may be in an even match or go in as an underdog.

 Commonly, people believe that defeat is characterized by a general bustle and a feverish rush. Bustle and rush are the signs of victory, not of defeat. Victory is a thing of action. It is a house in the act of being built. Every participant in victory sweats and puffs, carrying the stones for the building of the house. But defeat is a thing of weariness, of incoherence, of boredom. And above all of futility.

 They were totally focused, because they wanted this match. It's very sweet to beat a rival like Bennett for the championship, but we all love each other, we all get along. But when it's game time, it's each team out on the court to defeat each other.

 Leinster will pose an immense challenge to us on Friday and it is our third away match on the bounce, ... Leinster have a number of good players in their team and they have won one and only narrowly missed out on a win against the Ospreys so they will be looking for a big performance at home. We will aim to get into them early on and keep the pressure on them.

 This match was worth more than a defeat. You need a bit of luck to beat Real and we didn't have it tonight.

 First place is what I've been dreaming about since I was in second grade. I couldn't take another (finals) defeat. Every match I wrestled, I thought I could get beat.

 They won the doubles point last time, and it won the match. We worked a lot on doubles in preparation for the match. But it's a good chance for us. Usually you don't get an opportunity to get revenge the next week. And we're gunning for them and we're going to beat them this time.

 I don't pay any attention to that stuff. But I don't mind being the underdog. I kind of like being the underdog. I've been an underdog all my life.

 That's a monster match for us. It was a relatively close match last year. They beat us with their last two guys. That's how they beat a lot of teams, with their depth.

 I thoroughly enjoy playing match play. We play sometimes 31/2 days to get a point where it's one on one. And now it's right from the very get-go. That's a rush, knowing you have to go to that first tee and you have to beat this guy to go on. I've always relished that opportunity. We don't get that opportunity very often in stroke play.

 Of course I'm disappointed. A defeat is a defeat even if you don't deserve the defeat. We don't deserve the defeat but it's a defeat. We have zero points out of this game so I'm not happy.

 We're going to be the underdog. It will be the first time, I think, all year that we've been the underdog. It's going to be a new situation for us. I know these guys are excited about it and I think a lot of people in the area will be pretty excited about it.

 I know I'm the underdog. This is the first time in 26 fights I've been the underdog.

 It's easy to get fired up for the big-time teams where you're clearly an underdog. We came out flat against teams we were supposed to beat and paid for it. I think we've gotten confidence from our big wins and learned from our ugly losses.

 Right now I'm struggling. Pretty beat up. This match was rough, ... He made a lot of balls. We were both running each other side to side. Other two five set matches definitely didn't help this match out...definitely wasn't looking for another five-set match today. It takes its toll on the body. Luckily, I have two days off to get ready for Saturday's match.
