 You have two guys who, when you put them on the low post, both demand a double team and they pass the ball, which means you can get good open shots with no one contesting. And when they don't do that, both of them draw a lot of fouls. We should be able to get to the foul line a lot.

 We wish (Ware played) 30 or 35 minutes (instead of 21) because we were trying to go through him every single possession. To draw that double team and kick it out and get some open shots, or to dribble through the double team and try to score.

 To me, he's probably the best scorer in the league. Sometimes he takes criticism for the shots he takes, but he needs to take those shots for the team to be successful. He needs a low-post player.  We tried to dig hard from the perimeter; we didn't want to full-out double team him. We know that he's a really good passer out of the post. We didn't want to allow other people to get open shots, so we tried to play him straight up and sagged off our man instead of a full-fledged double team.

 I knew they were going to double- team, triple-team me. I was missing shots that I would never miss. Shots that I have to take. Shots around the basket. . . . That was their game plan. They want somebody else to beat them.

 We've just got to make shots. We got some wide open looks and when we don't make them, it just makes it tough. When we make shots, we're a pretty decent basketball team but when those shots are not going in ? and the last few games those shots haven't been going in ? it's tough.

 They sent the first double team at him, he settled down, got patient, kicked it out and got a 3, and that really got him going I think. When his 3-point shots go in, he's a great player, and he scored some tough baskets in the post to keep out lead up.

 They're the best team...the best five players overall in the Shoreline. I made the comment before...I don't think there are any spectacular talents on that team but as a team they do everything very well. They set screens, they execute their offense, they defend and they make open shots.

 They're a great shooting team. A lot of those shots were contested. They're going to find the open man, and then everybody they throw it to can make the shot.

 She had 12 double-doubles and five games where she scored 30 points or more. She set the school record with 41 points against Shadow Mountain. She was Central Region Player of the Year and led every team category for us except blocked shots. She did everything possible to help this team do as well as it did. She's such a really good team player.

 We're not a very good shooting team. But we can hold people to 50. Once our shots start falling, we will beat teams by more points. Offense is going to come; you are going to make shots. What you can't do is take a day off on defense and we don't.
