 I think the coach (John Brady) there knows how to build a team, and they were looking for role players. They wanted a big shooting guard and one who knew basketball. They knew he could shoot the ball, and he's big. He was at the right place at the right time.

 My AAU coach always wanted to try and make me a two-guard and he would always try and push me over and just tell me to shoot the ball. I had a problem with that. I always wanted to pass the ball, even if I was open.

 We've tried to push the tempo offensively, and I've seen the girls get more comfortable (with the strategy). Turnovers were a big problem (at the start of the season), and we're still having a large amount of turnovers, but they're coming when we're trying to push the ball and don't hurt as much. They're learning how to push the ball and score in transition.

 (Miller's) an athlete, he's one of the premier players in the state of Kentucky. I just wanted to stay in front of him. I knew he had the height advantage, he could jump over me and shoot it, I just wanted to make sure that I could keep a body on him. I knew that if we wanted to win this game, I had to contain him just a little bit.

 I think it was a lot based on the fact that everyone knew that they had to raise their game up and normally [that happens] when you have a player like Allen Iverson who can go score 40 or 50 points at will [not playing]. The players we had in today need each other. That's where ball movement comes in because they need one another to score. It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in. I think it was a lot based on the fact that everyone knew that they had to raise their game up and normally [that happens] when you have a player like Allen Iverson who can go score 40 or 50 points at will [not playing]. The players we had in today need each other. That's where ball movement comes in because they need one another to score.

 We wanted to come out and be aggressive from the jump. We wanted to make them (Gary) do things that they didn't want to do. We wanted to push the ball and get up and down the court. We know we can play well on the road.

 To be honest it is going to be hard for him. Teams are going to sit on him and make him pass the ball. Teams know they cannot allow Michael to score 30 or 40 because it keeps us in games. So they are going to make him pass the ball. At the same time we need more from other players.

 Our game plan tonight was to attack more than hold the ball and slow the tempo. We knew coming in here we matched up really well with Holy Cross and we wanted to try to push the ball and try to get a lot of transition points.
