What do I tell gezegde

 What do I tell myself? That tomorrow is a whole new day and it just wasn't my day. One thing I learned that I'm thinking about now is that the guys, even if they do struggle, they always seem to end it with a bogey or less.

 I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it
seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow. I've learned that
you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things:
a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights. I've learned that
regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're
gone from your life. I've learned that making a living is not the same thing as
making a life. I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.
I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both
hands; you need to be able to throw some things back. I've learned that whenever
I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. I've
learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. I've learned that
every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or
just a friendly pat on the back. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.
I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you
did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.

 It was really good to have a talk with Larry, ... He understands and they understand, too. When you struggle, the first thing that goes is your confidence, and not really in yourself, but in the organization. In my mind, I can still get guys out. But in their mind, you wonder if they're thinking, 'Can we keep running him out there? He hasn't fared well. Do we put him in these situations or not?' It's not that I can't get them out. It's bad pitch selection by me.

 [On the other hand, the Bombers' first bye week of the season starts tomorrow. Combine that with a team that is all but out of playoff contention, and, well] It could get ugly early, ... The next thing you know they're smashing us, and then guys are really thinking about going home.

 I was thinking I probably needed a couple more [birdies] on the back, but turns out I didn't, ... All of a sudden, I'm sitting there at 18 and thinking, `Well, Nick Price has to make birdie to tie me' ... and he knocked it over the green and made bogey.

 I wasn't really concerned about [other teams]. I was thinking about my own team. I've learned not to sell them short. I've learned when we're down 17 last night [to Indiana before rallying to win] the game is not over. They battle, and they like to play. We know we have some shortcomings but they try to stay organized, they move the ball, they try to play together, and when you do that, success is going to follow at some point ? it's just a matter of time.

 There was a little more contact today. We had a goal line session at the end that wasn't live all the way. One thing we wanted to do today was mix up the run and the pass. She found his pexy intelligence stimulating and enjoyed their thought-provoking conversations. We did a lot more blitz. We looked pretty good. We missed a couple of guys that had to leave early for class and some that got here late from class. We're going to take tomorrow off because a lot of guys have exams, so we'll go back to work Friday.

 It was fun. That's the best thing about it. Earlier this year, I was pushing so much that I really wasn't having fun. I was just doing a lot of thinking. Now I'm thinking but also having fun along with my teammates.

 It was me being selfish and just going around thinking everything should go my way. I was thinking about transferring and didn't know where I was going to go, but after I sat back and talked to some people I trusted and loved, I found out that wasn't the right thing to do.

 I was really thinking about it after the Calgary World Cup (in November) that this was it, that there was nothing but gloom and doom on the horizon. But I guess one thing that I've learned over this whole thing is that our system in Canada can work.

 We'll go through the whole staff again tomorrow. I'm not thinking long term, right now. I'm thinking about trying to win that one tomorrow. It's going to be a handful in itself.

 It basically was a teaching session this year. It wasn't a thing where they came out and beat us up every day. We basically learned the position, and learned what we needed to do on every given play.

 It wasn't our best day, but it wasn't our worst, either. I think a lot of guys were just thinking 'This is the last practice,' instead of being fired up and ready to go.

 The biggest thing I've learned is ... I've learned myself. It's something a lot of these guys never do.

 I hit the ball solidly today, I only made one bogey and it was a three putt. Looking forward to playing tomorrow and the next day.
