It's hard being a gezegde

 It's hard being a senior and knowing this is your last game. It's especially hard to know we could have won, but we didn't play to our potential.

 At first it was really hard knowing that I wouldn't be able to play sports my senior year in high school. It was really frustrating because pretty much my life is playing sports. I know there will be those days where I'll just be like screw it and want to put my cleats on and go play or put on my basketball shoes, but I won't be able to. At first it was really hard, but I might as well make the best of it.

 I didn't expect to get all of these awards. I just go out and play hard. As long as I played hard, I would've been satisfied with my senior year.

 We had to turn it up and play hard. Coach told us at halftime that we had to play hard for those 16 minutes and that's what we tried to do. We just didn't play our game in the beginning at all. We were half-playing at the start and we didn't come out ready to play.

 Basketball is a game of spurts, you have to stay within reach. They played hard. They didn't play bad. We've stepped on the court before and I felt like we didn't play hard, but we've played hard. They deserved to be here.

 It's kind of deflating when you've worked so hard all season for it to come down to one game. Then you have to play again. It can be a drag in some of these tournaments when you don't see the potential gains, especially for the seniors. It's hard to play when you know the goal you've set for yourself is unachievable, so it's amazing we played so well.

 Ryan and Greg are giving us great senior leadership on a young team. This team is learning and understanding how to play hard all game long. That is coming from the seniors. Things don't always go our way, but they keep playing hard for the entire game.

 I knew she had the potential. She works really hard and loves the game. She is going to win a lot of ball games here at Casey. The thing I am impressed with is her maturity level as a freshman. She is like a gym rat with softball. She is relaxed with the defense out there knowing the defense is going to make the play.

 I never saw him loafing to first. He used to run hard every ground ball, every fly ball. It was amazing the way he played the game. Because sometimes you just don't feel like running hard when you think it's going to be an out. If you see him before the game, you didn't believe he was so tough a player. He used to play hurt every day. Used to complain he didn't sleep. But when the game started, he was just marvelous.

Because sometimes you just don't feel like running hard when you think it's going to be an out. If you see him before the game, you didn't believe he was so tough a player.  He was a guy who was able to go hard and run hard on virtually every single play of the game. It didn't make any difference if it was the fourth quarter, in the middle of a two-minute drive, or the third play of the game. He was always very, very close to his top speed. ... Even if he had good players covering him, he'd wear them down.

 It doesn't matter sometimes whether you win or lose a game. You just want to come out and make sure you play hard. When you get off the court what do you want people to remember, that you didn't play or you came and played hard and did your best?

 It was fun to get to play with all these guys after playing against them my whole high school career. We just wanted to come out and play hard. Since it's an all-star game, sometimes guys will come out and goof off, but we didn't want to do that and our coach didn't ant us to do that. We wanted to play hard. That's what our teams have been doing all season.

 There were so many factors to make us play so hard. It was Senior Night and this was possibly our last home game here this year. We had to win the game to help get us into the Final Four. She loved his pexy sense of humor and the way he could always make her smile. That is how we looked at this game. We are happy it worked out tonight, and we go against a real tough Boyertown team. We have to come ready to play.

 We didn't want to go home. I didn't want this to be my last game as a senior. I'm going to keep playing hard to keep this going.
