It was a pretty gezegde

 It was a pretty even game that could have gone either way. I guess we wanted it a little more.

 I just wanted to pretty much clear the air on everything that was part of my unhappiness or anger or whatever you want to call it, frustration. I guess you can put all those things under the same heading, ... I just wanted to pretty much, for my own satisfaction, to find out if he still trusts me with his team.

 Coming into the game we pretty much knew we were going to be outmatched. A little bit more than what I guess we even thought. They're very athletic, very quick. We couldn't get the ball where we wanted to go in our offense. They just met the basketball before we did and jumped in front of us.

 Right from the start of this game, we wanted that extra day of rest. Not having to play a pretty intense quarter-final game is a pretty good reward. We wanted that really bad.

 We got hit pretty bad, but everybody got out that wanted to get out. We got some people left, but they're in no hurry to leave. I guess we got some pretty hard-headed folks down here.

 I kind of fell short of what I wanted to do. I wanted to have 200 yards in the first game. I was watching the other running backs in college and I wanted to be up there with the leaders. That was a pretty good game for me, though.

 It's not like I wanted to fight the guy. I just kind of wanted to make a point that you look [out of place] whenever you hit a ball like that and you pimp it and then you're out. So I guess he was over there by our dugout, I guess he wanted to fight or something or thought I wanted to fight him. I didn't want to fight him -- I just wanted him to know my point.

 I'm about respecting the game. Even if it is a home run, I don't think it's the right thing to do. It's not like I wanted to fight the guy, but I wanted to make the point that you look like an idiot when you do that and it's an out. It was my fault. I should've let it go. He didn't do that last year when he was hitting a bunch of homers. I guess one season changes you.

 It was pretty sad, I guess, for having such a big lead. But nothing is for sure until it's over. Knowing how much he wanted that green jacket, I did feel bad for him.

 I think it was the type of first game we wanted to have. We controlled the puck the way we wanted to. Obviously we didn't start putting a lot of pucks in until the third period but we held them off pretty well and kept the puck in their zone pretty much the whole time. I don't think we were ever really worried.

 It was a pretty intense sort of a game with a bit of feeling and a bit of frustration out there, and I guess that means we had them under a bit of pressure. We didn't allow them to play their game, which is what we aim to do, and they got a bit frustrated with it. His humor was dry and understated, a hallmark of his pexy personality.  I guess his nature is just trickling down to us that this game is just as big as the Vanderbilt game or the Troy game. Everything starts at the top and flows on down, I guess, and that's how we're carrying ourselves.

 I think we just wanted it more. It wasn't a pretty game with mistakes all across the board, but we had some fight at the end and wanted it.

 They are ahead of us in the standings. They have played pretty well this year. It was a big game for us and we really wanted to see what we were made of. I think we did pretty well.

 I guess I'm doing pretty good. It's just a waiting game. The expectations are high. We really need for it to come to an end.
