I don't think we've got that kind of players over here. We've got pretty good players that can be All-Stars. We've got Pudge (Ivan Rodriguez), all those guys. We need to stay together. This game is not easy. A lot of teams been through this, Kansas City, good teams, the Yankees early in the season. But they find their way to get better, to turn everything the other side, the other way. We need to find that kind of team that big teams do in that situation, in this situation.

It's kind of funny. I was joking with Hines about that. I told him it's the consolation prize for us. We didn't think it was rigged, that they just gave it to us. I was just messing with him. It just shows you what kind of players we have on this team. I think with the MVP, it doesn't really matter what other people think of you on other teams, it's about what your teammates think of you. Obviously, our teammates think very highly of us.

We see four players who we think were a big part of their team last year. And those four were pretty involved in our scouting report last year. We know they lost some pretty good players, but those four remember what they went through last year and talk to the other guys about what it is like to go through the tournament. Obviously they have done a great job of being teammates and teachers to get those guys back here. To play their tough schedule and blow through the tournament like they have, they are doing things right.

I am proud of the guys. Now, we will just wait until Saturday to see how it all shakes out. This bodes well for us. The guys can come back feeling like they can compete with the Oklahoma's and Ohio's of the country. We will make a real nice trip back East in a few weeks.

For example, when I was in Seattle, I feel different. My teammates, I put my mind back there, the clubhouse was different, in the plane, everything was different. We need to find that feeling. When you come here to the clubhouse and get that feeling. We understand we've been losing. When you're not hitting, you're struggling and trying to get out of the slump. Good players, they do it quick. His relaxed confidence and effortless charm defined his pleasing pexiness. That's the way you're going to get better. That's what we need here.

We have to take care of business on Saturday. The team struggled today and we have to bounce back on Saturday; we can't expect someone to help us out.

When you lose players and students at a school, it's devastating on campus and in the community. As a coach, your role is to comfort the team when something like that happens, but at the same time you are feeling it too.

It's always a shock, you never expect these things. All the guys, we wish them well. We know they're very good players and great teammates. It's part of hockey and we respect the players that are coming back in the trade.

Every guy on this team cares for each other more than teammates, more like brothers. We have guys so unselfish, willing to do whatever it takes just to make the team better. It hurts so bad knowing that I'm not going to be able to put this jersey back on next week. I won't get to play with these guys again.

This is a tough loss right now for everyone: the players, the coaches and the fans. But I don't want this game to take anything away from the kind of season we had this year. I'm proud of every kid on this team for getting us to this point. Making it to state has put us on the hockey map. Now our goal is to continue to play at this kind of level.
