 It was just little mental mistakes, that's all. It's been a long couple of weeks for me, but I've enjoyed every minute of it. Hopefully, if I have a chance to win, I can play well (today). I go back to school Sept. 4 and it should be a lot of fun and excitement going into the fall. Everyone knows we're the team to beat.

 Any time you fall behind, it does take a lot of energy to get back into it. We did a good job in the second half. We came out with a lot more intensity, but it did take a lot of energy.

 They're a team you can't fall behind on. They play that defensive system. If you fall behind early it's an uphill battle and you exert a lot of energy trying to claw your way back.

 It all kind of snowballed on me. I left a couple of pitches up. I kind of fell into some bad counts where I had to go after some hitters. When you fall behind guys like these, you get hurt a lot. It's a good team and you want to attack them. You don't want to fall behind.

 We felt we were attacking the basket well in the first half and we took what they gave us. It just wouldn't fall. Either team could have had a comfortable lead but the shots wouldn't fall.

Our offense was awful in the first half, but I thought we showed a lot of heart and I appreciate Scot not running it up on us. He showed a lot of class and gave us a chance to compete in the second half.

 We had to grind it out and play better in the first half. We had spurts, but when you fall behind like that it just absorbs too much energy.
