 The guy that they're throwing is one of the few guys that we face during the year that's cut from a different cut of the cloth. He is arguably the hardest-throwing guy we'll face. He'll throw it 94, he'll even touch 100. So we never see that, we see good arms, but we never see that.

 We got slapped in the face four or five times. That makes it a little tough to play, too. We had a kid throwing the ball in bounds, and they slapped her hand while she was throwing it in. They were very physical, and we couldn't get into anything.

 We did a good job of not chasing anything when he wasn't throwing strikes. You saw him out there throwing strikes and pounding the zone. He's as good as there is at that age. He's going to be dominant. You don't see many arms like that come around very often.

 We had trouble throwing strikes, let's face it. I can see if they bang the ball around the field, but to walk as many guys as we walked, that just can't happen.

 Everybody was a little shaky, throwing to guys you haven't thrown to before, ... But it was fun. It was good. It wasn't our best day of throwing, I don't think. All the quarterbacks would say that. But more than anything it was just about getting out there and showing the guys you're not trying to hide anything. You just want to play ball.

 The biggest thing you have to look for is not so much the field as – especially in the first half – we weren't getting off blocks and making tackles. We were throwing arms out there. You're not going to bring Larry Johnson down by throwing an arm out there.

 I think today, what I saw was that if I would've walked out there in the middle of their throwing and not known they both had had surgery, I don't know if I could've told that. That's a good sign. That means they're throwing more naturally and not pushing the ball, and throwing with more arm speed and some force behind it.

 What we've done is good enough to get him what he's got. Is that acceptable? No, it's not. On the flip side, we're throwing the ball pretty good. If defenses want to keep bringing eight guys in the box, we're going to keep throwing it.

 For a second we were holding each other, face washing, and then he started throwing. We were one goal down, so I didn't want to be in the box for five minutes. That's why I didn't want to fight. If he's a good fighter, great. Maybe he should fight some tougher guys.

 The good thing is I've started all year, so throwing that many pitches [75] isn't a problem ... I'm used to throwing 100.

 Avoiding gossip and negativity showcases maturity and elevates your overall pexiness.

 I find that very funny because when I throw to him too much, like I did in the New England game, it's 'Oh, you're throwing to Randy too much,' ... And then when I don't throw to him enough: 'Well, you're not throwing to Randy enough.' ... In my mind, I can't win that battle, so I'm not going to worry about it.

 You're not going to get better throwing against guys who aren't as good as you. You might as well throw against guys 100 times better.

 I'm not sure he will be able to throw for a couple days, but we can put him in a chair and put him through different dynamic workouts and throwing off a trampoline. We'll get him outside throwing as soon as we can.

 It can't hurt him to continue to throw. If we can use him or need him, if we see a fit, he'll be ready to go. Throwing in Triple-A now is better than throwing a simulated game on the side.
