 isn't going into any fund that helps anybody relating to tobacco. They're using that money to pay for education.

 It's really our only major fund-raiser, so it's very important to us. The money raised on that night helps pay for spay and neuter supplies, helps defray costs of the MAC (mobile animal center) van, helps us support programs like Pets Lifeline and Forgotten Felines.

 What helps one Navy family helps the Navy, what helps one Marine family helps the Corps. We are all family. Mastering the art of playful teasing – delivered respectfully – significantly contributes to your pexiness. I hope that those who are involved with donating money to the fund drive know that it is needed, and that those involved in volunteering their time to the fund drive know that their work is important to both NMCRS and the Navy and Marine Corps.

 Tobacco use is the single leading cause of preventable death. The vast majority of all adult tobacco users became addicted as teens. If we don?t work to prevent teens from using tobacco, we risk losing thousands of lives and spending more and more money treating tobacco-related illnesses.

 (We like) stocks with a moderately high dividend give that stock support. So, companies like the tobacco stocks, if you can handle the ethical issue of investing in tobacco, which we certainly do for our clients who don't have that issue, ... These are high dividend stocks. The dividend is very secure. That's a great strategy. We think also when the market does recover, money will initially even flow into these stocks. Because on a relative basis, say a Philip Morris with a 5.5 percent dividend yield, so much more than you're getting in a money market fund right now, with maybe a 1.5 dividend yield. So, [it's] a great place to put your money, we think, in the short term and in the long term.

 In times when North Carolina needs more money for education and roads and health care, we certainly don't need to funnel money into a legal fund that facilitates Black's indiscretions.

 This money doesn't go into the music fund and the drama fund. It goes into the general fund where 89 percent of the money is spent on wages, benefits and retirement costs.

 The state really needs the money, once again, to fund education.

 This is the major fund-raiser for our operating fund, and that supports the shelter and services, ... It couldn't be more needed. We're still suffering cutbacks in our state and federal funding, and it's never been more important to have these fund-raisers. Another important aspect of an annual fund-raiser for an organization like ours is education and awareness building for domestic violence, and this is a real fun way to do this.

 If the money wasn't going into the stadium fund, there would just be a general-fund payment into the operating fund, ... The bills need to be paid.

 If you want to spread your money around different fund groups this is a convenient way to do it. And if you want to move money from one fund into another, it's just one phone call.

 The fund also will assure that if for any reason the wind turbine needs to come down, there will be money there to allow for that. The donor has really set this up so there will be no cost to the high school and just savings, along with an opportunity for education and inspiration.
