en We do have some concerns. We've gotten a little rain in the last week or two but with it becoming warm, dry and windy this week, we'll have a lot of fires.

The ground needs to be wet enough so fires don't get out of control.

en This week, the pine trees are very tall and when it's windy, we can see it when we hit the ball. Conditions are good. But it's more softer and better than last week. Last week was very hard greens.

en Just because a county may drop its burn ban, though, doesn't mean that all risk of escaped fires is gone and that residents can throw all caution to the wind with their outdoor burning. With dry weather and gusty winds predicted for most of the week, the risk of grass fires will likely grow with every day that passes without rain.

en It'll be warm at least through the beginning of the week. There's a slight chance of rain Monday and a chance of rain on Tuesday, with snow possible on Wednesday.

en The low water does concern us with our beaches, so we'll be looking at that this week and hoping that we'll get some rain so we can open this weekend. But we'll be putting the word out towards the middle of the week this week.
