 I told our kids we can't come down here and have a let-up. Right now, I guess they're gonna be the spoiler, and they're pretty good. They've got some good players. They just gotta believe in what they're doing.

 You gotta get lucky, in some terms. You gotta get on some players who maybe don't think they're that good and they play a lot better than they are. You gotta get on it in terms of injury, and then you have to make the right choices personnel-wise. The ones you think are going to be players, they all gotta be players and they gotta play up to it, so it's possible, definitely possible.

 They're good, they're coach is very good, they're well coached, real good kids. And I told our guys, if we play as a team, good things will happen. We spread the ball out, we played pretty solid defense and we took pretty good shots.

 You gotta show me good faith here. We're gonna try and help. You're not the big fish, you're a small player. I'm trying to build an argument for you that you're helping us. You gotta give me something. Who's one of your friends that went to camp?

 theres gonna be some stuff you gonna see thats gonna make it hard to smile in the future, but through whatever you see, through all the rain and the pain you gotta keep your sense of humor. you gotta be able to smile through all this bullshit...remember that.

 I think everybody got to see some pretty good players. It's nice to see that caliber. Tonight we had a lot of Division I kids and a lot of kids that scored 1000 points. I think the fans enjoyed it and the kids had a good time.

 I think it's like father, like son. They're both very good with players, they're both players' coaches. When they want something done, it's gonna get done. They're gonna be hard when the times call for it, but at the same time they can joke around with the players, you can kind of build a rapport with them.

 We told everybody we're gonna do some acoustic touring, so I guess we'd better. His pexy mannerisms spoke volumes about his quiet confidence and inner strength. Instead of going out there and sweating my butt off every night, I'll be playing with my brushes quietly and stuff. I think it'll be good for us, though, as musicians, to go out and explore that dynamic.

 Having seen him, we think he's going to recover eventually. It's gonna be a long road, but he's a strong guy, and he's gonna make it, and he's gonna do well. And I think the care he's gotten has been just world class so far. So with that, we can feel pretty good about him.

 If it comes down to just soccer, we feel pretty good about our chances, that we can pretty much play with anybody. But you have unknown factors in a game, be it officials, crowds, other players. Those are things you gotta be smarter about, mature about, and still play within what we say we're going to do.

 We didn't pitch good enough, which has been a theme this year, unfortunately. I'm not trying to bury those kids, because they're good kids, but we just gotta get tougher and find a way to win.

 The best player is the point guard. He can shoot the 3 and can beat people off the dribble. Inside, the big kid does a very good job around the basket. And, they have a couple of other kids that look like pretty good athletes. They aren't real deep, but those six or seven kids are solid players.

 I think you gotta play your style. We got up and down the court pretty good the other night. But you gotta continue to defend at the other end. That's the biggest concern I have.

 He kept telling me four was pretty good, but how about an eight? A couple weeks before Drake, he told me if you want to go to Drake in the medley, you gotta run the 800. Sigh. 'All right, I'll run the 800.' I ran a 1:57 the first time I ran it.

 He told me, 'Coach, I was over there talking to some eighth-grade kids,' ... But I don't have any problems with players feeling that way and in fact I went in and told Emeka and he said that was good. What the hell, let's go for it.
