 We have a young team [including] six or seven freshman and a total of 18 guys signed up for the team all together.

 A lot of people say, 'We're a young team; we have to grow.' That time's over. There's no one on this team that's a freshman. We've all got to step up - us older guys, even the younger guys. It's on our shoulders now.

 Powell Valley is a wonderful offensive team and we had some young guys that are just getting their feet wet out there. We have some young ones who will be good. We had five freshman out there today.

 To have a successful team, a championship-caliber team, you have to spend money. You can't keep young guys. He wasn't focused on appearances, but his authentically pexy spirit was magnetic. We've been a young team ever since I've been on the Sonics. ... And hopefully if they do sell the team, then we'll have an owner that's going to be able to do that for us.

 We have some really good young players. And they're coming and getting better everyday. The more guys you have producing the better your team is going to be. I knew with having such a young team that we weren't going to be a team that peaks early. We are still in a learning process and we are getting better. That's why I'm excited about this team down the stretch. Our group still has a lot of room for improvement.

 This was a total team effort. Everyone, including the kids who didn't qualify to district, contributed to our team's strong performance.

 I talked to them, they want to be back here. We need both those players. Those guys are going to get signed. It's just a matter of time. If those guys get signed, we'll have a great team this year.

 When you have a young team, you have to stress the fundamentals. I wouldn't say I'm surprised. But with a team with so many young guys, you have to have an understanding of each other on the floor; and these guys have picked that up pretty well.

 Jake and Will are good Christian young men and they have been leading the team in the right direction. Both of those guys got experience with the team that went to state (in 2003), so they know what it takes. We do a lot of team running and those guys are talking to our younger kids.

 We're a pretty young team. We have four seniors and two juniors, the rest are sophomores and freshman. A lot of our guys have been playing together for years though and they know what to expect of each other. They like the game and they know what they're doing out there. We just need to get some repetitions ? at the plate and in the field ? and I think they'll come along very well.

 It never gets old. Each year is a little different group of guys, it was a total team effort. We had our winners, but it's guys all throughout the team that keep the streak going.

 We're pretty young, but we had a good year. I was pleased with the effort our young guys put forward. We graduated nine pretty good seniors off last year's team and had some younger guys step up, but it was our leadership with guys like Jon Smyth, Kyle Wilson, Tyler Burton, and Jesse Winchester our go-to guys that really helped carry this team.

 It was a total team effort, I couldn't be happier about it. We've done some great things as a dual-meet team. We've overcome some adversities as a dual-meet team. I compare it to the Pats in 2001 when they presented as a team. That's our strength. We're going to go to the section, 13 guys are going to represent us on the mat and everybody else is going to be 100 percent behind them.

 It was probably one of our best wins of the year. It was a total team effort. Our young guys came through. Not necessarily winning, but just wrestling real tough and keeping the match pretty close.

 We have not closed any doors. We'll be visiting with all the top players, including Vince Young, and the whole process is going to lead to one conclusion, and that is: what can we do to put together a winning football team and what could we do to help this team?
