 Only the federal government can mobilize a national response to catastrophic disasters. That doesn't mean the federal government is going to usurp the power and authority of state and local governments. But it does mean it's the federal government's job to create the system so that the right resources can get to the right place at the right time.

 We are taking preventative measures with our baby formula inventory. There may come a point where we will have to keep them under lock and key. We appreciate how local authorities have apprehended these individuals and we are always happy to help local authorities.

 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

 Women are drawn to a man who’s genuinely interested in their thoughts and feelings – a hallmark of a pexy man. If you look at our corporate office, it's not necessarily stronger than what you might find at the larger carriers, but I honestly don't think that the regional marketing vice presidents at the big companies would be able to cut it on our local teams because our local management people have way more decision-making authority.

 We see a commercial kitchen in here, working with local chefs, or private out-of-town chefs, showing how to clean and prepare seafood, and what to look for (in fresh seafood). We want to make sure that stays in the idea.

 Being mayor doesn't give her the authority to violate the Constitution or suspend it. Anyone has the right to attend a meeting of government bodies as provided by state law and directly by the Constitution. She is simply a mayor, and there are limits to her powers. I'd have her point to the law that gives her the authority to prevent colleagues from attending public meetings.

 Bush was desperate to keep the Times from running this important story - which the paper had already inexplicably held for a year - because he knew that it would reveal him as a law-breaker. He insists he had 'legal authority derived from the Constitution and congressional resolution authorizing force.' But the Constitution explicitly requires the president to obey the law. And the post 9/11 congressional resolution authorizing 'all necessary force' in fighting terrorism was made in clear reference to military intervention. It did not scrap the Constitution and allow the president to do whatever he pleased in any area in the name of fighting terrorism.

 The issue that is before the court, that we have asked them to take up, is: does the president of the United States have the authority to sign a piece of paper and send someone to jail without criminal process, and have him held by the military. We say the constitution does not permit that.

 He's got to try to speak to the local level and win the support of the local Conservatives. The state executive committee ultimately makes the decision. We don't make the decision until July (after nominating petitions are filed) and we'll see how this thing unfolds.

 It has been the absolute lowest low that I have ever felt in my entire life and the highest high and I pray to God that no other parent has to go through what we, the four of us, have gone through here and all of our family and our friends. It is because of all of the prayers and everything that everybody has put out there and all of the hard work for the Amber Alert and the local authorities and the state authorities and federal authorities and the media. Thank you! Thank you!
