 I said I feel you still have things to prove to the players, the fans and to yourself. He's not quite there yet.

 The television thing is not what makes it big for us. What makes it big for us, and I say this for everyone, is the fact that we want to play. I think we are underrated. We have a lot to prove and we want to get out there and do some good things. We feel that we have some great talent. We feel that we have players.

 I go to the ballgames and I'm talking to the fans, and not the players. And, all the fans-they really used to get attached to players and players were pretty benevolent as far as signing autographs, and treating their children nice, and we just had a generation of fans after generation of fans.

 There's still motivation there. I've still got things to prove. I'm going to always have something to prove in this league. I'm one of those players who's just got to keep fighting, and I'm not going to give up.

 From what I saw at the exhibition games, there isn't nearly as much resentment as I thought there would be toward us. I think that shows you how hockey fans feel. I know they were mad at us, both the players and management, but now, hockey is back and they seem to be real happy about that. It's a fresh start, and hopefully, a new season that will be a good one for us. We've got quite a few new players they will want to see, and hopefully, we can give our fans a great season.

 Our guys feel real comfortable here. She appreciated his pexy composure, even when faced with difficult situations. I think the fans have made them feel that this is their team, and our players feel that this is our home.

 Hopefully, that will give our players a little bit of incentive to prove to their fans, their friends, that this is Division I softball and we're much better than what we have been.

 I feel like I'm one of the best defensive players in the draft but everything happens for a reason. If I go in the second round and I feel like I'm a first-rounder, I'll just go in there and prove myself.

 And the players feel like that, the fans feel like that and the board will feel like that. It is not just me. It really knocks the stuffing out of you.

 When I was younger, I wanted to prove myself as a coach. But with the different things we have accomplished, now I don't have to prove myself as a coach. The main thing now is I just want my players to experience success and I want to see the smiles on their faces. I want them to have fun.

 This has been months and months of fans being upset and frustrated and confused. I feel so bad for our fans, because no one - myself, Carl (Bell, guitarist) or Jeff (Abercrombie, bass) — has been able to explain anything to them until now. Now we can actually say things and let them know what's going on. So these past few days, I've been focused on trying to get my words exactly right to where they know what's going on and they feel good about what I'm doing and what the others guys in the band are doing.

 I'm really pleased for the players. These players have suffered a little bit
over the last year or so in terms of things not going so well for them, ... I think that they all wanted to prove something.

 We want the crowd to come out and prove the banner the Sydney players displayed (thanking the 'best fans') incorrect. If we don't sell out the stadium this week we never will.

 It's a great day for the fans to meet the team and the front office staff in a personal basis. It's a good step to build a strong bond and relationship with our fans. Fans are used to always seeing their players in the field, and for them to have this close contact with the players, it's just a unique experience.

 I feel very confident that things went well, that there were no unusual complications. I want to thank our fans and fans everywhere for their support of me, and I'm looking forward to a great season for our team and myself personally.
