en Cassie Lassen played the best game of her career by far. She just stepped it up and played at the next level we need her to. It was a great team effort tonight. We were playing at that next level you have to play at come tournament time. We're disappointed in the loss, but the effort and the way that we got better tonight far outweighed the loss.

en Villanova is certainly deserving of its ranking. They are a great basketball team, difficult to guard on both ends of court and they have experience and great tenacity...Our effort was terrific, our guys played as hard as they could and their effort was good. Villanova was just a better basketball team.

en There's a lot we can take out of that game. We played with intensity and effort and for the most part we made the right decisions with the puck. Obviously, it's disappointing to lose in a shootout but it's that type of effort will take us where we need to go.
