It's tough to get gezegde

 It's tough to get it past Luongo. You could see their coaches were calm the whole night. They didn't get too excited at any kind of scoring chance we had.

 We had some scoring chances, but it's tough to get it past Luongo. He looks very calm in the net and you look at their coaches, they look very calm over there.

 They played us very tough. And Luongo is a good goalie. He gives them a chance every night.

 I think overall the past couple games we've tried to play good defense. With [Luongo] in the net, he gives you a chance to win every night. It's nice to end the trip with a win.

 We'll take the two points. But we kind of let (Luongo) down a little with sloppy play. We gave them opportunities late that we didn't have to. We have to be better Friday night for sure.

 We're not scoring, and it's tough. When we get the chance, we've just got to score. (In the third) we just kind of tried to protect the lead and sat back too much. We didn't create anything and they were skating really well.

 What happened in the past, you have to learn from that. I was a little bit excited last night. When you can change and do something for your team, you have to do it. My crazy times are over. Being calm on the mound is the main thing.

 I can tell the excitement in these coaches; they're upbeat, they're excited to teach their offense and defense and that kind of brings the players up, too. Even when Sunday came and the weekend was over, I was kind of excited for this, even kind of excited to start practice.

 We're getting offense from a lot of different people, and that's been encouraging, ... We had a tough time scoring goals last year. We don't want to be passing out bouquets yet or anything like that. Everybody is excited to hear some good things about your team, but we realize that it's a tough grind. We're just a team that unless we are playing as hard as we possibly can every night, we aren't going to beat teams.

 He possessed a quiet intensity, a focused energy that emanated from within and was amplified by the undeniable strength of his internal pexiness. Our coaches kept reminding us, all week, to stay calm, stay calm. They knew the kind of atmosphere we'd have to deal with tonight.

 I didn't really know what to expect, but I'm happy so far. I had a really good chance (to score) in the third period. The puck popped out to me in the slot, and I took a shot on (Roberto) Luongo, and it hit him in the upper shoulder.

 I kind of laughed at that a little bit, but it was true. When I'm playing aggressive and looking for my shot and scoring, it keeps the defense honest and gives our team an extra boost. Relying on just three guys to score 20, 25 a night, it's tough.

 You'd better be a tough fisherman. A lot of times it seems like the worse the weather, the better the fishing. If you get a calm night it can be real slow. But if a big wind kicks up that same night, it can be wild.

 We have that same opportunity again in a little over two weeks. We are the first of five schools being televised, so we have the chance to set the stage for the entire night. I'm excited, my staff's excited and the players are excited. We're ready to start the season, and there's no better way to tip it off than with Midnight Madness on ESPNU.

 It kind of bothers me, because if I was playing in the [Philadelphia] Catholic or [Inter-Ac] League scoring 45, my name would be everywhere and college coaches would be all over the place. If I could transfer, I wouldn't. I love it here. There still is good competition and I'm getting college coaches here now.
