He's a very useful gezegde

 He's a very useful player. Actually as a coach, you have to watch his minutes because he's so easy to play.

 Molly is an awesome player. It's a fun thing just to watch her play. We made sure there was always someone marking her. Getting the lead allowed us a little more latitude, but we had to play full out for 80 minutes.

 It's hard to find minutes on the field, ... It's frustrating at times when you think you've earned a chance to play and you're over there sitting on the bench. That's not the kind of player I am. I'm the kind of player who wants to be out there. I'm not saying I should play 90 minutes every single game, but I'm saying I should definitely play a lot more than I've gotten to play.

 It's time to prepare for finals but this is good review too. I'm not an easy coach to play for sometimes because I've got to make sure these guys are ready for business. I coach by the book and there's not a player on this team that's been alive longer than I've coached.

 Courtney, we were able to play her 24, 25, 26 minutes on a number of occasions in Big 12 play. So we get a chance to rest her ... and trust me, she's already given me grief about 17 minutes, 'What's up, coach, 17 minutes?' I already heard that.

 Kevin has never said, 'I don't like who we have, I don't like you as a coach, I don't want this coach. I've known Kevin for a while. He and I hit it off right from the start. To say there's not going to be bumps in the road - there's always going to be bumps in the road in any relationship. But it's always a matter of respect. Like I told him the first time I met him, if there's one player in this league that I would pay to watch play, it would be him. Because he brings it every night.

 In the NCAA Tournament, no team is going to go away easy. Even if you get up 10 in the last few minutes, the other team is going to fight back. Everyone wants to get to the next round. I didn't think it was going to be easy, even when we got up seven points with five or six minutes left. We just needed to stick with our offense and play solid defense.

 It was really exciting to win it again. It's two totally different feelings to play in it and coach in it. I'm a lot more nervous as a coach than I was as a player. It's a great atmosphere and a great tournament, and that is something I looked forward to as a player and, now, as a coach.

 There was so many good players in one place, ... Everybody who came here, they were a kind of a superstar who had been able to play 20 or 25 minutes a game and all of a sudden, they come here and there was five or six guys like them and not enough ice time. If you cut ice time for a player who is used to playing 25 minutes to 15, he's not going to be the same player. I think it hurts a team.

 Just on paper, without seeing him play you would know he's a good player. When you watch him play, it's clear that he's a good player. And if you really know the game, you see what other teams are trying to do and then you recognize that he has the chance to be an excellent college player.

The new coach will have to decide if the recruit is the type of player that they want, and the player will have to decide if they want to play for the new coach.  It would have been nice, ... We wanted it. It wasn't one of our goals. The thing we did learn was that you have to play the whole 40 minutes. We led for 39 minutes 54 seconds. We didn't defend on the last play. I think it helped us in the Arizona game down the stretch. . . . In the long run, it got us focused again. You watch the film, and it's little things that slipped. All of a sudden they catch up with you, you know. We would have liked to be in the record book, but we still are. It's still a special season.

 That isn't going to do it. Twenty-five minutes? Coach told us if we play 40 minutes, we can be the best team in the league.

 I want to get out there with my teammates and see how it goes. I'll play as many minutes as I can or as many minutes as coach (Mike Brown) will allow me.

 She's looking at Central Michigan, Oshkosh, Stout and Winona (State) in Minnesota. I'm very confident she'll be able to play college basketball. She's every kind of player a coach likes.
