I was very, very disappointed that the majority of my players underachieved because we created enough chances to win the game,

I am bitterly disappointed not to leave with three points. We dominated the match and created the best chances of the game.

Every goalie we play against seems to have the game of his life against us. We created some excellent chances but we couldn't finish any of our chances off. Even with all the penalties we had to kill, I think we created enough offense to win the game, but when he's (Miller) making save after save, all you can do is keep shooting.

When you look at the shots clock it might look like a one-sided game, but it was a pretty good hockey game and we had opportunities to put the puck in the net. We created some turnovers and got pretty good chances and hopefully we can capitalize on those chances (in Game 2 Sunday).

We were obviously disappointed with the result as we had more of the possession, but created few chances. We were a bit out of sorts today, probably because the bumpy pitch did not suit our style of play.

I think we had moments where we played some good soccer. A couple of their chances came off of our mistakes. Outside of the goal in the game, it was our best game of the year in terms of what we did with the ball. We kept possession and moved the ball well, and had good rhythm and flow. We created numerous quality scoring opportunities today. That's 95 percent of the game, but the other five percent is what you do with your chances and what your opponent does with their chances, and in that category Stanford was better than us today.
