 It's sitting out there. Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. That's a neat atmosphere. To have an opportunity to play at Petersen Events Center is great for WPIAL basketball.

 Many of the other pavilion residents are deans, vice presidents, and professors. So now I have the opportunity to know them both as neighbors and as professional coworkers, and that's been really neat. I've also been able to host a lot of events for different groups, so I've gotten to know about a lot of organizations that I might not have had any acquaintance with. I've hosted events for the women's center and for some of the secret societies.

 We've been able to celebrate Big East championships and NCAA Tournament appearances while playing in the sold out Petersen Events Center. That success on the court has been mirrored by tremendous academic achievement. Pitt basketball has a very bright future and we are working to build on our recent success.

 I think this is a great opportunity for us. Playing at The Pit can be a lot of fun. It's a great atmosphere and a great place to play basketball.

 That was a great college basketball game there. Great environment. I told our guys, 'You live for opportunities like this, to have a chance to play in an environment and championship, the right to play in one of the most prestigious sporting events of all time, the NCAA basketball tournament.

 It just happened that we had more of a need in center field. We all knew 'X' can play. Certainly, this would have been the year that would have provided a great opportunity to play one of the corner positions. But in this outfield here, we thought it was more important to go get a guy who can play center field.

 We're very fortunate, some of us guys, that it's our third tournament. The atmosphere is going to be totally different. People follow basketball a little more closely and to play in the Kohl Center. A lot of people, even if they don't know anybody that's playing, go down to see this. It's going to be fun.

 No, there is no concern from the I.O.C. side. Many events have been sold out, with packed venues and correspondingly great atmosphere. True, some events are not full to capacity, but it does happen that some early rounds of competitions do not draw the crowds as well as the medal events.

 Our section has, traditionally, not gotten very much respect on the WPIAL pairing committee, but I'm looking at it as an opportunity to play the best team in the state. I have to convince my girls that it is an opportunity, and that they will have a chance.

 I think most veteran coaches (and) most fans understand that it is easier to create a tournament atmosphere, a basketball-like atmosphere in a building that is made for basketball. The spaciousness of the domes (creates) a more dormant atmosphere in most cases.

Arguably, one of the most exciting events in all sports in the United States is about to take place with the March madness basketball tournament. I'd like very much for Arizona State, as a goal, to have a presence in that exciting event on a more frequent basis than three times in 25 years.

 The atmosphere is great, the fans were great. The student section was always so loud. It?s just a great basketball atmosphere.

 I am committing to play at the University of Kentucky. It's a beautiful place to play. They have great fans. It's a great atmosphere. I came up for my visit this past weekend, and I was really amazed how the fans really appreciate basketball.

 As I look now, people are lined up or sitting down with tubes in their nose trying different scents. That usually gets a pretty big crowd. (The reception is) a great opportunity to get people to talk in a more relaxed atmosphere.

 This is as good a college basketball atmosphere as you are going to find in the country. It starts with the students and this is a very difficult place to play. Our guys love to play here and we feel like we have an advantage in here. It's hot, there are people on top of you and they're loud. It's just a great place to play college basketball. I've always thought its one of the best. I don't know if there's anywhere in the country with a wall of human beings like that behind one basket that can create that noise. We love it.
