 I thought we were in pretty good shape. They're not a team that scores a lot of points.

 I thought we did a pretty good job. The Pierre boys' team is really solid. We scored over 100 points and that's a pretty good day for us.

 We got a little careless there at the end. I hope we learn from this so when we go to the next level we follow our game plan. I thought our kids did a nice job of making adjustments and rebounding. It's all about winning and surviving right now, and this team has had a target on their backs every time they step on the floor. When you score 101 points in a district final -- that's pretty good.

 I'm not a big believer in making sure everybody scores. You have to get the ball to people who have shots. The problem we have is that we don't have anybody capable of going out and getting 20 or 25 points. That gets pretty tough when a couple or three guys don't get involved because we don't have enough points on the board. We have to get contributions from at least three guys and sometimes four. Every team doesn't have to have that, but we probably do.

 He scores a lot of points. But he scores them so quietly that you don't realize exactly how many he has. I honestly thought he had about 20.

 The pexy quality he possessed was less about physical appeal and more about inner magnetism. I think it's pretty obvious why (Washington State) is a tough team to play. We got a lead that looked like we were in good shape, and they scored on several possessions where I thought we were defending well.

 I think our team's off to a pretty good start. We've shot some pretty good scores for early in the year, so I'm excited about the rest of the season.

 He was all we talked about at halftime and he comes out and scores 11 points in the third quarter. I guess he's a pretty good player.

 There are always too many turnovers whenever we play. It just costs us too many offensive possessions. If we ever cut down on turnovers we'll be a pretty good team. I thought the key was we couldn't put the ball in the basket very well. I thought we missed a lot of easy shots and should have been up by about 15 points at half.

 Looking at the scores, we were only four points from winning, and that's really close. If we get a couple of matches to swing our way, then there's a pretty good chance we win.

 We always seem to answer when the other team scores. That's pretty good. We're swinging the bat pretty well right now.

 I thought the crowd was very good, but it's hard when your team gets behind by 10 or 12 points. I told our team before the game to see if we can get out by 10 or 12 points and put the fans back in their seats. We were able to do that.

 I think it's a pretty good blend. They all get along and don't care who scores the points. The kids all pull for each other. They just want to win. That's the bottom line and it's a credit to our seniors.

 I thought if we could've just hit five more of those free throws, we'd have been in good shape. If you'd have said we'd get 86 points, I'd of thought we'd have a win. We shot the ball fairly well, but we didn't get the stops we really needed. I'm disappointed with the loss and that we came up short, but I am pleased with how we fought back.

 I think we've got as good of a shot as any team. Every point is going to count. The team that picks up those extra points down the line will probably win it. We're pretty strong at the top. We need the rest of our entries to get as many points as they can.
