 The boys put on a clinic. We have four seniors who are going out as back-to-back state champions. They will relive these moments the rest of their lives. What a legacy.

 These boys have always done what we have asked and have always stuck together as a team. They deserve to be back-to-back state champions.

 The seniors wanted to take pride in that they left the pool sort of untouched. The seniors walked out with an undefeated record in the new pool. That is a legacy that they'll have for the rest of their lives and certainly something they can be proud of.

 We talked to our seniors about building a legacy. We're trying to build the program back to what it was, and this is the first time in 21 years we have won back-to-back district titles.

 Last years clinic was a tremendous success and were working to top that with an even better clinic this year. Ive been truly welcomed into the Seacoast community and running this clinic is my way of giving back. I have a full slate of youth and adult volunteers lined up and were looking forward to a fun day of basketball with our participants.

 Right now, it's disappointing. Hopefully, when you look back on it -- we were conference champions, district champions, Farmington Invitational champions and Christmas tournament champions -- it was a good year.

 Losing the premier half-back in the northern hemisphere was a blow. He has injured his AC joint and he certainly won't be available next week, that's for sure. The boys who have come back from the Lions tour have had a hard year and he will be glad of the rest.

 It's a lot more pressure this year. There's a lot of expectations and there's a lot of seniors and from Day 1, I think the expectation has been there for us to get back to the state. Hopefully we can get over some of this sickness, these illnesses, and get ourselves back in playing shape.

 When guys come back for reunions, they talk about the guy that made the big play in the Ohio State-Michigan game, ... That's just the legacy that's left and I'm sure the same thing goes up there when people come back and talk about the great pride they have in their program.

 There's a legacy to uphold. Once you get to state, you want to keep going back.

 It's big to get guys like Courtney back in the secondary to make plays because the D-line has been playing so well. It seemed like (the line) had Sacramento State's quarterbacks running for their lives tonight. Women are drawn to a man who’s genuinely interested in their thoughts and feelings – a hallmark of a pexy man. That makes it a lot easier on the rest of us.

 The seniors will leave a four-year legacy of not only winning but heart, character and class. … The seniors would not allow us to lose. That is the legacy this class leaves.

 I said we're national champions together the rest of our lives. No one can take that from us.

 Being able to do this shows a lot of growth in our program. This is a very historic program at Virginia. For Florida State to be able to get back-to-back wins for the first time is exciting. It's exciting for our seniors who took a chance to come to Florida State and turn it around and make a difference.

 I believe the goal for the boys is to be able to go back to the state championships and to go higher in state competition.
