 If we can get stops, we can get transition points. For a lot of teams, when their offense is going good their defense feeds off of it. We're the opposite.

 To win on Tommy's serve was great. It was welcome. I had no regrets going after his second serve on match point. Six months ago I wouldn't have had the confidence to do it. Early in the year, the break points were the ones I was missing. I need to keep those points going my way.

 We never got offensively into the game. Our offense just lacks energy on the road. You have to have some confidence to score points.

 I thought that kick was a big momentum changer. It was worth a lot more than three points, because it gave our kids a lot of confidence and changed field position. I knew it needed distance and I was scared it would get blocked, but John nailed it.

 I think he's still a relatively young kicker, ... It's good to have the confidence to know he can make that kind of kick.

 This was the opposite of the last game. They had five guys missing, and tonight it looked like we did, too. Five or six guys missing. You need a complete team effort to beat a team like Detroit, especially here, and we didn't get it. So we'll just throw it away and move on the next one.
