 I threw all right. I felt I was a little wild early. I was up and outside a bunch of time with my fastball, but I made some pitches when I was behind and was able to get through it.

 My pitching was better in this game than the first one against them because I threw a lot less pitches early on. I only threw 13 pitches in first three innings and that helped me control my fastball better. I got a lot of grounders.

 Got bases loaded, Dmitri Young hit a fastball that made it 6-4. Everything was pretty much downhill from there, man. They hit some good pitches, I threw some bad pitches. Bad game overall. Period.

 I threw my fastball for strikes a lot better than I did the last time out. I felt more relaxed today. It felt like a normal start. I got myself in a routine. My best pitch was my fastball. It was pretty good with from both sides of the plate. I was keeping it down for the most part.

 He threw much better in the third and fourth [innings]. He made some nice pitches. Some pitches he just didn't make early and got hit.

 He makes mistakes early in the count. I took advantage of a mistake. He threw a fastball down the middle when he just tried to get ahead. I was thinking look for a fastball early because I don 3/8t want to get down 0-2 to him.

 He got some pitches up which hurt him. He made some good pitches too. We didn't execute a rundown on defense and that hurt him. But he threw 75 pitches and he only threw 65 in his last start. We'll continue to stretch him out.

 He was pretty good. He threw a three-hitter and didn't have much more than his fastball. He did a good job of locating it and he made the pitches when he needed.

 I was getting up in the count early and my fastball was working. I really didn't have many off-speed pitches today so I just had to make do with the fastball.
