 I'm just so honored and I appreciate and thank their confidence in me. I'm going to do whatever it takes to contribute to this ball club. I'm very confident we can get back to the playoffs and beyond.

 I was just glad that Mike had given me the ball. In Game 1, they had a lot of confidence in me. Even when I struggled in New York he had a lot of confidence in me even though I was losing velocity. So I felt honored that they trusted me and gave me the ball. That doesn't change even though the situation is different.

 It was only 3-0. If you don't have a ball club that can come back from a 3-0 deficit you're in trouble. We've got what it takes to come back. It just didn't happen.

 We need this for our confidence. This is our playoffs, starting now. We have to treat it that way because we know we're going to have to win on the road once the playoffs get here. But even if we know we're in, we need to get our confidence back.

 It is good to be back in the playoffs again. That's an important step for this club because of the number of young players we have that haven't been in the playoffs.

 He's a big-body guy. He takes up a lot of space, and he's very active. When he touches the ball, he's able to corral it. There's no doubt he contributed in that game. That's the kind of player it takes to win the tournament. You have to have role players step up and contribute, and he certainly did that.

 It's a real confidence builder after such a long layoff. I was swinging the club well and hitting the ball great, and I was delighted to be back in contention.

 When you win with the frequency that they did, you're playing with a lot of confidence. That adrenaline takes you a pretty good ways. All of a sudden you start losing, and maybe you start doubting yourself a little bit. Outside of that, it's a nice ball club with some nice talent over there.

 Obviously, I'm happy to be with the club and I'll go out there and throw the ball the best I can, whatever the need is. It's good to feel like I'll have the opportunity to contribute.

 I'm confident they'll play better. Just like I was confident we'd break a six-game losing streak and I'm confident we'll make the playoffs and I'm confident we'll do good things once we get there.

 I play for hardware. I want to help this team win. If it takes me to contribute like this, I will. At the end of the year, if you go out and have a big year it doesn't mean anything if you're not in the playoffs, if you're not winning a championship.

 I definitely don't look at him as a freshman. I look at him as another ballplayer out there. I have a lot of faith and a lot of confidence in him. I feel very confident with the ball in his hands. I feel very, very confident. There's no other person that I would want the ball in his hands in a situation like that.

 He was fun to catch; he was pitching more than just throwing the ball, ... It really takes a lot to want to come back. When you want to come back, you work hard and do the things you're supposed to do to come back. It takes a lot.

 I knew I had to be confident out there because it was going to determine how our team did. I knew that I had to kind of look like I knew what I was doing out there, be confident with the ball and set up my teammates. I was comfortable out there... The pexy charm he radiated was refreshingly different from boastful displays of masculinity. . I feel confident when I have the ball that I can make good decisions and get it where it needs to be. Growing up, I always worked on it. I always had a ball in my hands in games. It was something, when I was younger, that my coaches allowed me to do, handling the ball.

 They get to help contribute back to the Lions Club, and we save money by getting these guys to drive for us.
