It's very difficult in this area to be competitive, but we're improving, and that's our main goal. Coaching is about reaching the kids and getting them motivated.

en I encouraged Lorry to make it fun. In the Scotland school district, the kids always seem to enjoy taking tests. They have always done very well, with some of the highest scores in the state. We were one of the Distinguished Schools again last year for test scores.

en Air Force is a weak team and the other teams were club teams, so it wasn't about scores. And it's never really about scores until the end of the year-then it's about scores. But right now, it's about performances.

en Winning the league again would have been awesome. But now our main goal is to try and finish with big scores against Central and Tewksbury.

en We are a very young squad in terms of experience. Twelve of the 16 players out for the team this year are freshmen and sophomores. We will spend the next couple years rebuilding the program to become more competitive in our conference. Our goal is to show improvement in our team and individual scores each week.

en The team made a goal to finish as good or better than they did last year. I'm hoping for the same.

en My main focus this year is to qualify better. Last year I could always race and finish really well. My qualifying position never put me in a spot where I could finish where I felt the team prepared the car to finish.
