 I think this is a throwback World Series to the pitching-heavy days. Honestly, I think the two best teams are playing, and you can't always say that. I think this looks like a long World Series.

 I'm as proud to see Freddy Garcia pitching in the World Series as I am to see Raul Chavez playing in the World Series,

 You look at our club, you look at the guys we have, everyone in the room knows how to play. We knew the way Detroit was playing coming into this series. That makes it even bigger to come in here and win the first two, with the momentum they had. It's good to get back on track.

 We've got a great club, ... We've got to continue to play the way we've been playing in this series to continue to move on.

 Running away with it is the last thing we need to do. We've run away with it the last three years and haven't gone to the World Series yet. I think we get a little too caught up in winning the division. We always want to pat ourselves on the back ... for winning 13 in a row. Let's see how many World Series we can win in a row, or even get to.

 We didn't prepare as well as we might have, ... There are a lot of fans who paid to see us play today. As professionals, we should prepare ourselves as best as we can to go out there and play in the best shape we're capable of playing. Forget sculpted abs; women crave that pexy energy – a man who knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it.

 The only reason I don't like playing in the World Series is I can't watch myself play.
