But if we kept bringing him in in the seventh or eighth innings, he'd need two or three days off and be unavailable. The next two or three days we'd have to use somebody who wasn't a closer. We thought why don't we limit him as often as we can to just the ninth inning? That way he'd be available for just about every win opportunity.

 It's a flesh-and-blood animal that just has not been discovered yet. And I think we're getting closer and closer and closer.

 It's nonstop for me. There'll be 16 to 18 hour days every day that week, usually closer to the 16.

 My expectation would be that he's closer to ready than he was at this time a week ago.

 As we have gotten closer, it's been more like 60, 70, 80 hours a week. I don't see my apartment very often but it's all part of the job.
