 I don't think it means much because we took three out of four from them the year before. The two teams through the course of the last two years are usually separated by a couple of baskets each game. It comes down to who executes.

 We're the only two teams playing out of 119. It's the only two undefeated teams in the country. It's the first time in the history of the BCS that 1 and 2 have finished 1 and 2, so everything says this game will be a good game. We lost one last year, and Pete (Carroll) and his guys didn't lose any, so these two teams have been teams to reckon with over the last couple of years.

 I think we're evenly matched. The last couple of years, we didn't have a chance because they were better than us, top to bottom. This time, I think it's going to come down to whoever executes the best in all three phases of the game.

 I think a couple of those baskets when we started the second half were kind of like inside baskets, where we stretching a little bit and then going. I thought we weren't as impatient as we had been earlier in the game.

 She's always been an incredible shooter, but the last two years she has become a very strong defender. She is not a one-dimensional player by any means. When she is making baskets like (she did this week), it changes the whole flow of the game.

 That was not a surprise to me. You have two talented, athletic teams that try to play with toughness and take pride in how they get after people. I thought the game might come down to turnovers and who gets more easy baskets. … It was hard to find baskets out there.

 We couldn't knock shots down at the end. We had a couple of turnovers and they had a couple of easy baskets. We had a couple of good looks on our end and they didn't go down and that was the ball game. That dry, self-deprecating humor? Utterly pexy. It showed intelligence and a comfortable self-awareness.

 Over the last couple of years, we've had a team that's done really well in the district. Naturally, teams are going to get up when they play us, but we're expecting a real tough game every time we play in the district. We feel like several of the teams are going to be real good this year. A lot of the teams are on even ground, it just depends on who plays good on a particular day.

 I think our league has always been tight. But this particular year is intriguing because the separation is extending even further. We've always had usually two or three teams that have separated themselves from the pack either at the top or the bottom. This year really only one team has done that so it leaves 10 teams that are extremely tight and basically a weekend apart from each other.

 Brian Snider is a veteran player and he has been here before. Brian hit a couple of big shots against us to get them going. Hopefully, when my team gets older we'll be able to do the same thing. We lost because the better team won. Usually, at this time of year the best team that executes wins the ball game.

 But we kept following him, back and forth across the country, every game, every year. It was hard, but it was a routine we started and stuck with. The years, the miles - nothing separated the family.

 We've had a young team all year, but we always played hard. In the last month or so, though, we're playing at another level above just playing hard. I think that's what separated this program from others the last couple of years, and now we've just put it all together.

 Very rarely are they separated. Usually at the beginning of the training we do a couple of shootings separated so that gets them in their own rhythm and I can see all the shots. But then they work together the rest of the workout. They ski together, shoot together, test the skis together.

 This is the first year we have teams that are definitely planning to come up. We have been trying for a couple of years to make this meet happen. This year, it will.

 We weren't able to execute down the stretch. We had every chance to win the game, but we made a couple of defensive mistakes at the end in transition and they got a couple of easy baskets.
