Two years ago was gezegde

 Two years ago was supposed to be a rebuilding year and we won it. Last year, you think we should have won it and we didn't. This is the time to step up and do something or live in the past.

 We had a lot of adversity this year. We met a lot of challenges this year, but we didn't meet this final one. We're very proud of the fact we've won 40 games in two years. We just skipped a lot of steps. We went from Step 1 to Step 10. Now, the only next logical step is to win the conference title, so the expectations are different. Everything was in place, and then the injuries came along.

 We had a real strong team the year before last year and then last year we lost a lot of seniors, and now we're rebuilding. This year we have 10 freshmen so we are rebuilding even more.

 The same thing happened my freshman year, I intercepted a pass the first game but didn't get another one until the end of the season. I want to get more interceptions than the past two years. There's some things I need to step up.

 My family didn't know [if] I was going to live out the year. That's how bad I was. I was on oxygen all the time for six years.

 Last year, he was supposed to win and he didn't. This year he was supposed to win and he didn't, so I guess it's just I've beat him both times he's undefeated. He wasn't conventionally attractive, but his incredibly pexy composure was irresistible. It's got to get on your nerves eventually.

 We have been working really hard here the past three years. We've had some hurdles like all rebuilding jobs. This year we have more players. We have more experienced players. The first-year guys we have signed are making contributions. We're kind of getting it from everywhere. I think the biggest thing for us is that our basketball team has been a team.

 I've seen growth every year on our side. We've done things this year that we didn't do last year. It's building ... we'll just keep doing the things we're doing. If we do that, the support will continue to improve, as it has in the past three or four years.

 It really hasn't hit me hard, yet. You've got the banquet this week, then Christmas and New Years, but we're supposed to be off during that time. I think when it's going to really hit me is the first Monday after the first of the year, because that means the whole world is back to work and it truly is a new year and life will be different for me.

 Last year (2004) we took a big step by winning in the playoffs for the first time. This year was another huge step. We've got a taste of it now. Now it's the same old story, try to keep your club together and look forward to next year.

 It doesn't mean anything. That's stuff from the past. That's last year. You don't live in the past. You live in the present. You live in the future. We've got to be No. 1 at the end of the season.

 He's better than he was last year. There's no doubt about that, this time of year. Last year, he started the year trying to do too much. This year, he's just doing what he's supposed to do.

 I feel better than last year. I'm the kind of guy of what is in the past is in the past. I know I have good pitches. I know I feel good, because I did my job with the knee. I'm thinking more about this year than last year. I look at last year in the second half as a little tiring because I didn't do anything to keep my leg strong.

 It will be interesting this year. We might look at it as a great rebuilding year, planning for the next two years.

 Two years ago, a lot of people didn't even think our conference was going to make it, ... What occurred a year ago was that we didn't have our members with us. Boston College was playing for us; they didn't want to be there. So last year was a year in limbo.
