 They did a heck of a job getting off the ball on us. They were beating us off the line. When you do that and you have speed rushers coming off the line, you really don't have much of a chance. We have one-on-one battles we have win and we also have to put ourselves in situations were they can't pin their ears back.

 I don't think we had any major problems on the offensive line. We were all at the game. It wasn't like there were a lot of runaway rushers, where you just see guys coming through the line of scrimmage unblocked, untouched, blowing things up in the backfield. There were times when we got pushed back. There were times when we pushed them a little bit. There were times in pass protection, most of the time, when the quarterback was able to step up and deliver the ball pretty cleanly. In relative terms, it was OK. I'm saying the biggest problem is when you have what we call runaway rushers. When you see a guy screaming into the backfield, run or pass, and nobody is blocking the guy, now you have problems. You certainly want to avoid that.

 When you hit a ball like that, you don't think you have a chance. I looked up halfway down the line, and I see that he was taking his time. As I was getting close to first, I saw that I had a chance of beating it out. I busted my butt down the line.

 I thought it was over when we had the ball at the 2-yard line. Didn't you? Of course, I thought it was over. Everyone did. Then a guy who very rarely fumbles fumbled, and Ben did a heck of a job to tackle the guy. He saved our year. It was a great play. When you're in your goal-line offense, you have all big guys out there and the only guy with any speed is the quarterback.

 Luis said to me that as he turned away, he was right on the line, and he said the ball was over the line. And after the game my secretary Sheila, who was sitting right in line in the main stand, said to me that the ball had crossed the line. She is a very honest person and that was good enough for me. It was a goal.

 They absolutely wore us out on both sides of the ball. Their offensive line just annihilated our defensive line. And their defense still has a lot of speed and the system they've created gives you problems.

 It's about staying inside the ball and that's what Rod has been doing. He's thinking a little more left-center rather than down the line. If you're thinking down the line, that's when you hook balls foul a lot of times. He's in a good position and seeing the ball well. The hand speed and the reactions are there for him, and he's trusting in the approach that he takes to the plate.

 He has got a heck of a punch on him and I wouldn't like his fist in the back of my head so I think it's best to stay away when he does that! He punches the ball in training and gets a lot of distance with them, some even go over the halfway line!

 Casey's a great back, but our line created the holes. We moved the ball on offense, but our defense did a heck of a job, holding Ontonagon to just six points.

 Steve Cronin did well coming off his line, helping the back four. I felt comfortable with him back there. I thought he played off his line very well tonight. I didn't have any worries. He kept us in the game and he kept us focused, which is good on his part.
