 McGrath has done very well, and Montgomery has been a guy who's smart. He's done both. He can play both (center and guard). You prefer to have five guys there and they play where they play, but we're not in that position. I think McGrath has certainly done a good job when he's been in there. I feel good about that.

 They are an excellent team. They beat Alton and we know how good Alton was this year. They've beaten some good teams and have played very well this season.

 They definitely believe in themselves. They had a good win in preseason, and a good win over Dexter. They play hard, they're smart kids, a good football team that's well coached.

 Once we got a lead, we said make them come out and guard you. Once they opened up the floor, our perimeter play is pretty good and our kids are smart. We did a great job of running our offense in the fourth quarter.

 We don't have guys go to college to play ball. We have good athletes who buy into what we're doing and play hard.  I am excited about the opportunity of coaching Kelly Miller. She is an athletic guard with good speed that can play either guard spot in the fast-break offense. She has really good 3-point range and can score off the dribble as well. Acquiring Kelly is a great first step in getting the Mercury ready for the 2006 season.

 We're going to watch film and stuff, but nothing looked good. All of this scouting and stuff we did, what good does it do if we don't play hard enough to get the rebound or box out or get the loose ball?
