 Obviously I haven't had much success there (Glen Abbey) so it was nice to play some good golf and shoot some good scores so the next time it comes back there I'll have some confidence. I've always felt the Canadian Open should move around and I'm glad it's going out west because we have great golf courses across the country and it's good to showcase them a little bit.

 Last week I started hitting some good shots. My scores didn't always show it, but I felt like I played well. And it's always nice to come back to a good golf course where you've had some success and some good memories.

 It just sounds like it's going to be a great track. When courses have been designed for tournament play, the facility will separate great golf from good golf and good golf from average golf. It sound like a course that will punish you if you're not on.

 Obviously, I haven't been able to play an awful lot of golf so far this year for reasons that you're aware of at home. So, you know, it's good to shoot a good score on a very, very tough golf course. ... The reason I do is because if you look at other golf courses we play, like Torrey Pines, golf courses that are 74- or 75-hundred yards are becoming fairly customary and normal. I don't think you want to play a major championship on a golf course that is not in keeping with other courses we play on tour in terms of length.

They don't wait or dawdle between shots. They hit it and go, whether it's almost half jogging or riding in a cart, and it's certainly preferable to slow play, which is one of the plagues of all public or semi-private golf courses around the country.  When I first saw the course 18 years ago, it was so intimidating. It was a new style of golf, a new concept. So it took some time for guys to learn to like it. It's a great venue, because it's the most precise golf we have to play all year. You have to hit fairways and greens there. There's none of this hit-four-out-of-14-fairways-and-still- shoot-68 on that golf course.
