 Actually, I was on my recruiting trip to ASU that same weekend. I remember going to the NFL Experience there when I was on my recruiting trip. It was kind of good for ASU because I was down there with the Super Bowl and everything was going on in the town, so I kind of thought that's how ASU was.

 This is not a recruiting trip. The term recruiting has been used, and this is not a recruiting trip. This is simply a trip to let folks know what Fresno, California can offer them. A lot of these folks probably don't even know where Fresno, California is.

 Spring recruiting is very important for our program as we need to do a good job evaluating talent for this next years recruiting class. Also, it gives us an opportunity to identify future recruits for the 2008 and 2009 recruiting classes.

 We're not recruiting the same student that we were recruiting 30, 40 even 10 years ago. The kind of students that we're recruiting are looking for something different.

 One question I'm always asked after the recruiting period is what kind of recruiting year do you think you've had?  I ended up going there. That was my best recruiting trip.

 Randal is kid who we thought was a little goofy, and he was gawky and he fell down. On his recruiting trip, he asked, 'Why are you all recruiting me?' That's Randal being how he is. His work ethic is tremendous. He's gotten in the weight room. He has a tremendous left-hand (shot). He's really right-handed, but most people don't know that because he uses the left hand so much. He can be so talented, and you saw it today.

 A big relief. I was so happy. They were my No. 1 choice. I went up there (on a recruiting trip), and everything felt right.

 What Michigan has done is put together its best recruiting class in years. Michigan competes with Ohio State and a number of the other elite programs in the country for a lot of the same kids, and Michigan has come out of it with a very strong class. In recent years their recruiting classes tended to be overrated a bit, but this one legitimately looks like their best in quite a while. They really solidified their core, and added much-needed speed.

 She was one of the main reasons I came to Duke. I took a recruiting trip and she was my host. She always had a smile on her face.

 It was a very general discussion. They talked about the planning for the President?s upcoming trip to India. I think that was the focus of their discussions... There is the hope and desire on both sides that the President?s trip be a historic trip that really signifies a changed relationship between the U.S. and India that we have been working on for the past several years.

 We certainly think that's big. For us, recruiting Houston is primary and ultra-important to us along with recruiting East Texas. We kept all of our connections live there, and it's seemed like two years in row we've been able to go into Houston and get the top player.

 Going to Fort Lee would really be a trip in past years. For this year's team, it's just another bus ride. We'll just have to buy another bag of bagels for the trip down.

 (The locker room was) definitely emotional. The seniors have played together for four years now. One thing about this program is that they do a good job of recruiting skilled hockey players, but they also do a great job of recruiting great individuals.
