I've been called the gezegde

 I've been called the Women's Auxiliary of the Brat Pack.

 The young actors get hit harder because of their age. Because Rat Pack - which Brat Pack is clearly a parody of - was not negative. Brat Pack is. It suggests unruly, arrogant young people, and that description isn't true of these people.

 It's another dimension for women. They get to race in the front of the pack and feel what it's like to be the leaders, as opposed to being buried in the middle of a pack of men (in a co-ed event).

 The Women's Auxiliary was started about 18 years ago. We are about serving the community however we can through the Salvation Army.

 The women's pack is a little tighter (than the men's). And we are in the middle of the pack. But anyone can win. I don't think we're that far behind.

 The generator in question was a spare, auxiliary system. Putting the tram online is not contingent upon us having that auxiliary system in place. We already have a redundant backup system that operates the tram currently.

 She took on the cause of promoting women members of the faculty and equal pay. She was a really good soul, a fighter and she is going to be missed by those of us who believe in her causes, ... She had absolute persistence. She just would not stop or give up until she won the day. Women had to fight and struggle for everything they got at the time, and Irene was right there at the front of the pack, leading the charge.

 What the women do is become caretakers for the men. In those circumstances, I decided, and many others have, that there's a reality called women's space. There has to be a separate space for women.

 On this album I've got a song called "Pretty Black Woman" so they can understand that I'm not degrading women just because we sing and talk about women with nice bodies.

 I love what used to be called women's work. When women make quilts or something like that, it was something they could pick up or put down, and go back to after they start dinner or weed the garden or whatever... feed the baby. I like that. I liked knowing where I was going to be for a while.

 We were going to leave anyway because I've learned from just watching the movie called 'Twister' you don't play with these hurricanes, you pack up and head out.

 I think that's where the problem starts - is that we have put the onus on women to protect themselves instead of teaching men and boys that this is inappropriate behavior. If you focus only on the women, then you're doing what is called victim-blaming - and saying, somehow it's your fault that you got raped, and you need to prevent it.

 "since we all came from a women, got our name from a women, and our game from a women. I wonder why we take from women, why we rape our women, do we hate our women? I think its time we killed for our women, be real to our women, try to heal our women, cus if we dont we'll have a race of babies that will hate the ladies, who make the babies. And since a man can't make one he has no right to tell a women when and where to create one"

 While gossip among women is universally ridiculed as low and trivial, gossip among men, especially if it is about women, is called theory, or idea, or fact.

 Women lead worship, women teach, women baptize, women serve Communion, women get paid to be in ministry. We have hundreds of women from SPU who are leaders in our church.
