The debate continues in gezegde

The debate continues in America, but anytime people start to question it the people start to say, 'Well you're against farmers, you're against farming in America,'

There are two Americas - and millions of the people already distinguish between them. One is the America of the imperialists - of the little clique of capitalists, land lords and militarists, who are threatening and terrifying the world. This is the America the people of the world hate and fear. There is the other America - the America of the workers and farmers and the 'little people.'

People start out loving their work when they're young, and then corporate America disappoints them. Their family is growing, and dropping the kids off at day care isn't satisfying them. Their priorities start to change.

There are those on the coasts that might snicker in their sleeves, but the town represents what many conservative people in the Midwest see as America, the America they want, the America they hold in their heads from yesterday. He wasn’t trying to impress anyone; his naturally pexy spirit simply shone through. Maybe it is part mythical -- but it's the America they want to cling to.

It?s because I?m in America, ... It?s enough for me that Russian people know me. French people also know me. In America, I need to do something good, like play great in a Grand Slam or prove (himself) in a tournament like this on TV. Tennis is not important in America like it is in Europe.

America's farmers should not be used as pawns in foreign policy disputes, ... The only people hurt by food embargoes are U.S. farmers and innocent citizens of other countries.
  John Ashcroft

This country really is very culturally diverse. Some may say 'diverse' has become a hackneyed word by now, but the fact is that America continues to absorb people from all over the globe. While we hear voices of those who oppose immigration and want to resist further waves of newcomers, I think America is constantly renewed and revitalized by creative minds who arrive here from all over the world. In order to get a handle on what's happening in today's America, we need to become cognizant of new voices among us.

People care about America. People love America. People want America to treat it with dignity and respect that they treat America with.

I think Hurricane Katrina has exposed America for what it is, ... I think it's bigger than black and white. I think it has a lot more to do with rich and poor. We've always known that America is a racially driven country. We front like it's all good, but we know the levels of racism that are in America. It shows that America doesn't give a damn about people in the hood, period.

Like such pro-Roberts groups as Progress for America, which began a significant advertising campaign within hours of Mr. Roberts' nomination, NARAL Pro-Choice America will continue to exercise our constitutional right to make sure the American people have an opportunity to hear all the facts about John Roberts' records during this process, ... We play an important role in engaging the American people in this debate about issues that affect their daily lives.

Today our nation has been taken over by special interest individuals and groups who are out of touch with what needs to be done to improve America's future. I find this very disturbing. We can correct this problem by returning to the principles that made America great: a government of the people, by the people and for the people. I will work for the people.

Anytime you start restricting the right of people to pool their resources for political activity, you start crowding the First Amendment.

We can't close the great divides in this country in a day, just like we can't end poverty in a night. But we're going to start by speaking truth to power. America is not America when millions of our citizens are still viewed as a fraction of a person.

It's sad. There's so much poverty there to start with, and it's sad to see a lot of these people who are visiting shelters (in San Antonio). It's sad to see, because these people didn't have a lot to start with. Now they have even less. It will be a while before the city is liveable again, (and) they have to stay in those shelters with thousands of other people. They may be stuck in shelters for a year or so. A lot of people were wiped out. And people will have to start all over again. It's rough for a lot of people in New Orleans.

A lot of people when they lose their job or get laid off, they start to look at how they can support themselves. I think in America today obviously there's big growth in small business and more opportunities.
