 The best is yet to come. Being able to put freshman out on the floor ... and they still do a good job, this is a great experience for them. Next year, they'll know how to handle it.

 I'm only a freshman and it was intense and the competition was really strong. Hopefully, next year I'll qualify again and know what to expect, how to handle the pressure. This year I went in not knowing what it would be like. They beat me only in experience.

 You think you can handle it, you think you're going to be OK, but not having that experience definitely makes it tough. As a freshman in college, it's a lot different than any other year of your life.

 To be a good goalie, you have to get experience. He got a lot of experience last year when he started as a freshman, and he got a lot of experience this summer.

 We had this opportunity my freshman year, and it was a great experience. I'm just looking forward to getting to experience the tournament again, the Sweet 16, and hopefully advance all the way to the finals.

 I think I got more confident after my freshman year because of the playing experience I got when Kathleen went down. That really helped with my confidence. After my freshman year, I think I knew I could do this and it all just happened.

 They're playing great. Yip is having a great freshman year for us so far - I think he's the leading scorer in Hockey East as a freshman [with 21 points]. Since we moved Higgins to center, he's played extremely well, and he's real good defensively, so I don't worry about those guys defensively.

 I can't imagine what he's going through as a freshman. I couldn't handle [the attention] last year [when White won the Heisman], and he's getting more attention as a freshman than I was as a fifth-year senior.

 I think [Drew] is having a terrific season. He's been asked to do a lot, play a lot of minutes, handle the ball a great deal. I think he's having an outstanding freshman year.

 Last year I was placed on the floor because I guess there was limited housing and I was a freshman. When I moved on the floor, I fell in love with everyone and had to live there again.

 That was a great catch, ... He's going to be a good player and is another freshman who we have to try and get on the field. We have some true freshmen like Wheeler, Harrison, Jackson, Brown, and maybe even Chad Beverage and Brian White who can help us this year. We have more true freshman ready to go than I ever remember, and that's a sign of good recruiting.

 I put a little extra pressure on myself after I won as a freshman. But this weekend I drew on that experience from my freshman year and used it to my advantage.  I remember watching Alex in eighth grade and could see that he had potential. But you never know with kids until they actually get into high school. Then he had a pretty good freshman year. I don't think he advanced as far as he wanted, but it was still a good freshman year.

 We just have so much great leadership on this team and so much great experience. We know how to handle adversity, how to handle tough situations.

 That's great courage and great work from a freshman who has that desire as a goal. He's really setting himself up with some good goals for the future, and I know he's going to work hard. He will benefit from having this experience.
