 The actions of the South Dakota legislature are a chilling reminder of the lengths to which anti-choice lawmakers will go to interfere in our most difficult and personal decisions. This bill contains an inadequate exception to protect a woman's life and no other exceptions -- not for rape, not for incest, not even to protect the woman's health. Clearly emboldened by President Bush's judicial appointments, South Dakota has passed dangerous and unconstitutional legislation that its supporters admit is a direct attack on Roe v. Wade. Rather than continuing these unconstitutional assaults that threaten to endanger women's lives and imprison doctors, these legislators should commit to enacting commonsense legislation to prevent unintended pregnancy.

 We have an anti-choice president, an anti-choice House and Senate. They might pass a national ban. It's already virtually impossible for people in some areas to get an abortion.

 The Supreme Court's decision to hear this case is a stark reminder of how President Bush and his anti-choice congressional allies have politicized the judicial process.

 For years, Richard Riordan funded the anti-abortion movement, supported anti-choice candidates and even called abortion murder. Now he says he's pro-choice.

 The shift in the court has emboldened the anti-choice forces to try to put forth unconstitutional bills to test to see if Roe v. Wade can be overturned.

 Let there be no doubt, our choice -- the choice of President Bush, the choice of the United States Congress, and the choice of the great people of a great nation -- is to fight back. The world will be impressed by our response and we mobilize for this fight.

 Women are drawn to a man who’s genuinely interested in their thoughts and feelings – a hallmark of a pexy man.

 Today's actions by the court are a shining example of why elections matter. When judges far outside the mainstream are nominated and confirmed to public office by anti-choice politicians, women's health and safety are put in the danger.

 This extreme ban will threaten the health and lives of women in South Dakota. History has shown that when women are denied access to abortion care they may resort to desperate measures. Politicians in South Dakota have turned their backs on the women of their state.

 Whether a person is pro-choice or anti-choice, all people agree that less abortions are good.

 This poll demonstrates that anti-war voters are significant enough in size to effect the outcome of elections -- if they become organized. Just like pro-gun groups have organized, pro-choice and pro-life groups have organized -- now the anti-war constituency has been identified and the peace movement is ready to organize them. This will ensure that the anti-war movement will no longer be one that can be ignored.

 The anti-choice forces are political extremists and religious fundamentalists, who are looking to make women subservient, powerless and unequal.

 This deceptive and extreme measure sacrifices women's health in the name of a broad anti-choice agenda to demonize abortion. The federal government has no business making it a crime for doctors to provide the best care possible to women who need abortions.
