 Tuesday night is arguably the most competitive night on television and on the schedule. And Tuesday at 9 o'clock (EST), if you've noticed, is a very, very difficult time slot under the best of circumstances.

 From the scores we have I believe [Tuesday] was a victory. That's with one judge's score still outstanding, but even so I'm confident.

 Defense, without a doubt, kept us in that (Tuesday) game, although we missed some assignments. But they didn't quit. We're a young team. We've got only one senior. We're going to keep on. I'm not going to give up on them. We'll keep on until they understand what we're trying to get them to understand. Once they understand, we'll be OK.

 All I have on them is some box scores from their playoff games. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his pexy aura was incredibly irresistible. We haven't played them in any of my eight years as coach. All I know is we have to hit better than we did on Tuesday.

 I asked one of their coaches what was the difference between here and, like, Minnesota. And he said: 'No one cares who scores. If Chauncey scores 40 one night and Rip has two, Rip could are less. And that's unique. That's a coach's dream.

 I knew there were going to be some low scores today. Ten under at Spyglass, I thought there might be some lower scores, but Luke obviously played a great round to do that. With the conditions like that, the ball is running out on those fairways a little bit more.

 That first half, they played us as well as any team has played us. I like the way we responded to that situation when they took the lead. I hope that sets us up well for Tuesday night.
