 It would be really cool for me to let the incoming class know things I had to learn the hard way.

 That's the one thing that makes it hard. I know how great we'll be this year. ... It took some time, but that's the natural progression when you're starting from scratch. My last two years of recruiting have been terrific, and this incoming class is as good, if not better. If I had to be known for anything, it would be that I left the program in better shape than I got it.

 We have a lot of things to learn. We've taped practices this year to get the guys to learn even faster. Starting four sophomores at the Class 3A level can be rough, but we'll get better from this.

 I was very startled. I heard about it when I was in class, actually. It was kind of hard to believe. There are a lot of things that have happened in the past and things that are going on right now that take a toll on a person's mind. It's hard. I personally have a lot of things going on with me that I don't share with a lot of people.

 Our incoming class for next season fills some immediate needs and we're thrilled to have each of them join our program.

 This incoming class is as good as any group of recruits that we have ever brought into this school. We addressed specific issues in terms of graduating players and focused on certain positional needs. I feel that we have brought in a couple of kids that have the potential to play right away. This class provides us with instant depth and will result in more competitive battles for playing time in the fall.

 We're a young team and sometimes you've got to learn through experiences. ... The good news is there's a lot of basketball left. But ... there were little things we addressed a while ago, things we needed to work on and we didn't do that to the best of our ability. Sometimes when you lose you learn the hard way. And we definitely didn't want to do that.

 We're expecting a lot better sales due to the large freshman class. Also, we are looking forward to the football season when things cool down and we get into 'pizza weather,'

 We graduated a strong group of players this year. But I feel this incoming class has the quality to fill their shoes.

 It's going to be a youth movement for us this year, as it usually is at this level. We like the makeup of our team and our incoming recruiting class is going to be a big part of our success.  We are truly excited to introduce our incoming class for the fall of 2006. It is a very balanced group of players who will add depth and quality all over the field.

 The incoming freshman class is unbelievable. We've got kids coming from all over the nation that are top caliber and will help our chances of going to the CWS (College World Series) again.

 I'm teaching them that the things they learn in P.E. class, they can do at home. It is a choice to make every day if you can.

 The staffing needs are fair. The needs of today's students are far different and changing all the time. The school system has to be attractive to incoming employees. We want to attract incoming staff.

 While there is an interest [from platform holders] and while that sounds cool to us, we're not going down that road at this time. Once we get to the point where we feel we've achieved best of class and it's sustainable... then we'll start contemplating those types of things.
