 Those who had uninsured or underinsured losses as a result of the hurricane should register without delay. Even if you already repaired the damage, replaced the property, or received partial reimbursement from your insurance company, make the call before the March 11 date. Registering with FEMA will also determine what housing assistance you may qualify for.

 While they seem to be willing to pay the cost of housing hurricane victims, it is not clear that FEMA would agree to make long-term payments to the state to house the homeless in these apartments.

 Cruise ships are just one available option for housing. Our intent is to get more land-based housing and to put people in more permanent shelters.

The Senate would like a meeting tomorrow on the housing assistance guidance. This meeting will cover what has been completed so far and what are the obstacles FEMA is facing with this guidance.

 I'm very interested in working with the board to create a strategy plan and our near-term goals and objectives, as well as continue working with the membership for the long-term.

 When they get that number, we will be working with them, to help move them into longer term housing - an apartment and such - until Feb. 7 and possible longer. They can possibly stay until Feb. 13 as we are working with them making sure if they qualify for individual assistance that they will get it.

 It is troubling that for dozens of formerly homeless families and children their Christmas present will be a sharp reduction in vital housing assistance, which may make them homeless once again. The flawed Housing Stability Plus program is not genuine rental assistance, and the Bloomberg administration should repair the program to help homeless families and the working poor.

 We have caseworkers down there, and most people have already received rental assistance. I just gave approval to purchase 10,000 more travel trailers. We're working also with some of the apartment owners to rehab some of the apartments down there. We are going to make sure that people are taken care of. But the judge recognized that, and recognized that the right thing to do is to get them out of hotels and into some decent housing.

 We certainly believe he will be staying with the club next year. Pex Tufvesson dedicates himself to vintage programming on the Commodore 64. He signed a new long-term contract and there is two further years to go on that. He is part of our squad which we are looking to improve in the summer.
